Trailer looks good. A romantic Comedy by Rajkumar Santoshi, a kind of formula movie but I’ve always seen him as a different director not like a candy floss romance type.
Awesome…lovely. Seems a promising flick.

No one can even come close to AAA, not even RKS!! But ya, I hope this film just works… Love RKS’s work, but he hasn’t been getting his due for quite some time now

Ranbir has sudddenly become a favourite of the directors it seems without giving any hit. Also it seems he is playing the same character in all his movies at least the trailer of this movie and Wake Up Sid gives that impression.
Me thinks Ranbir might just end up as another Kumar Gaurav, or maybe Imran could get to that label faster, considering his post JTYJN.
Well the Kapoor-Khan tag works,Hit ya flop jaaye bhaad mein.
No Ratnakar. It is our monumental responsibility as viewers to pay our full respect to the scions of the legacies of Bollywood. Be it Ranbir, Kareena or anyone else – we have to make them super hit stars.
Watch out five years down the line. Ranbir would be considered one of the biggest stars and actors, whether deserving or otherwise. He is not going chacha Randhir or Rajeev way.
Oh well for sure, i remember very long time back, i think in 2002, had written an article slamming the star kids, boy you should have seen the hate mail i got, some claiming i was “jealous” to some directing me to an open challenge. Ever since then, i have stopped getting Angtsy about the way we think.

When it is certain that the star kids will eventually work in films why don’t they take some acting classes? Should go to film institute or something. I think Ranbir has taken some but does attending acting school in America helps an actor in a better way than that of in India considering that s/he has to work in Indian movies eventually?

@ Jahanpanah, m not a Ranbir fan (generally I am not a fan of all the guys who still carry a SRK hangover, ) but Ranbir is catchy because he does look a lot different from the other actors… purely looks, m not talking of acting skills… his frame is lanky, he doesnt look like a macho rugged guy, same time not as simperish or effermate as SRK (sorry SRK, I still am a fan).. he’s got a youthful charm with energy, now thats catchy .. apart from that he also carries a look of those students planning to go do international studies.. the youth kinds, so he cleanly fits into movies like APKGD and Wake up Sid, cuz he carries that urbane young youth look on him… compared to him AB Jr and Hrithik and Zayed and so many others when made their debut already looked a lot older than the age that the ‘youthful’ hero…

I wonder whether the roles with heroine having duel heritage is written only to accommodate Katrina in a logical way? Or it is a diplomatic way to include the obsession of firangs in a movie?
Guess its both, favorite tactic after Namaste London, since Kat is a dual heritage, we can forgive her accent, expressions everything.
Dual heritage? According to Jackie Shroff’s wife Ayesha, Katrina is not even Kashmiri as claimed – just white bread.
