As per IMDB, Jack “is about a boy with a unique aging disorder: one that makes him age 4 times faster than normal. Movie picks up when Jack (Robin Williams) is 10 years old, but looks 40. He tries to go to public school for the first time, and tries to become friends with kids his own age. His physical appearance causes him lots of problems, however.”
Pa is a desi take on Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Jack where Amitabh ages faster than his parents, Abhisake and Vidya Balan.
This make-up apparently takes 5 hrs to prepare and it is spoilt by sweating.While shooting in Delhi Amitabh covered his face with a towel.
Amitabh will be pissed to see his ‘look’ is published which the gang is trying to keep a secret.
This is ridiculous! Why do journos do this to films? The Producers and the entire team of the film do so much to protect the look and then one slip, itss gone! Everyone has a right to protect their story till they are ready to tell the world. I think it’s so unfair.
Yes the look & the concept is interesting.But its quite surprising as to how the pic got leaked out.
It’s terrible when you realise that Amitabh Bachchan had been moving around with a towel on his head to keep his look a secret and an irresponsible combo of a publication and journalist spoiling everyone’s effort regarding a film.
Balki was my national creative head when he was making Cheeni Kum (He is a full time chairman of a top-notch advertising agency) and most of us who knew what the film was all about, made all the effort to keep it to ourselves. In fact, I refused to hear the ending of the film from a guy who was supposed to be crew. I somehow felt it wasn’t on.
And then, this. What fun does one derive by robbing someone of his creative rights regarding his work?
I agree the film makers has right to release his publicity materials whenever he wishes, but in times of instant communication, fans are alos interested to know about a film.
We can not rule out the possibilty of publicity stunt by film makers themselves.
Is the release of this pic is a known move by producers?? .. something like girls wearing a mini skirt.. just arousing the curiosity by revealing something…
