Ashta Chamma
(4.5/5) Do yourself a favor! Don’t miss this movie which will probably remain the best comedy in Telugu after Missamma and Srivariki Premalekha. Full review coming soon!

4.5/5 ???? cmon yar ….i will give 3/5
Watched Ashta Chamma yesterday and was throughly impressed with it. It may not be a great movie but is way above than what can be called as a good Telugu movie.
The characterizations (yes, I agree the movie itself is an adaption of Oscar Wilde’s ‘The importance of being Earnest’ so a lot of credit goes to Wilde for characterizations), the nativity, the tongue in cheek comedy is superlative compared to what TFI (Telugu Film Industry) gleefully churns out time and again.
Yes, the movie has its share of flaws, minor ones, but it makes for a perfectly enjoyable watching. I can’t wait for it to be out on DVD now.
PS: My first post on pfc. woo hoo!
