    Hold on. Yes you read it right. $825 Million. Anil Ambani of Reliance Big Picture has tied up with Steven Spielberg’s Dreamworks production to well…produce..finance, et al. They will be making 6 films per year. Walt Disney will distribute them globally, while India leg will be handled by Reliance. Source

  • Producer-Multiplex Bollywood strike called off!!
    After what seems like a very long time, the strike has atlast been called off, with certain trade-off’s certain people happy, certain “had” to do with it. Not yet sure where and what the compromise is, but the good news is..we can watch movies every friday from now on. Keep us posted on tha latest. Source

  • White Tiger Into a Movie
    White Tiger by Aravind Adiga is now being adapted into a screenplay. The book had won the Booker prize recently. The rights have been acquired by John Hart’s newly formed Smuggler Films has acquired rights to The White Tiger as its first project. I know a lot Indian Filmmakers would have wanted to adapt this book too. Link
