Deepak Singh is a young film-maker and leads his media startups. Young Turks Motion Pictures is a film production house recently started under the aegis of Young Turks Media, a communications agency and a TV programming production house.
Young Turks Motion Pictures plans to produce ten films over the next 6 years, across genres and for varied audiences. Young Turks Media is engaged in producing, designing and developing some of Indian Television's most impactful shows. Deepak also recently produced a record-making music album - India Hai Meri Jaan - on HMV Saregama. The album now holds the record for featuring the highest number of Indian achievers and celebrities in one video (non film), including the most of Team India Cricketers, Olympic Medalists, showbiz celebs and entrepreneurs.
Deepak started his career as an advertising professional and mastered the usage of communications & management tools for the benefit of niche sectors which unfurls a wide array of possibilities. He is an innovator and expert on the domain where Media & Communications, ICT & new media, Marketing and CSR converge.
Deepak also has a strong philanthropic side spanning a decade. Young Turks, too, had a beginning as a pan-Asia level youth development initiative and network integrated with sustainable business models. Subsequently, among many feathers, it was visited by the Delegation of United Nations Habitat Youth Empowerment Program as part of their Study Tour to India. Deepak is also Director with IRAM, a national-level new age NGO. Earlier, he served as the Principal Consultant with the Training Management Unit of Indo-German Cooperation, GTZ, InWEnt and Ministry of Environment & Forests, the apex Capacity Building wing of the conglomerate. Additionally, he is consultant with a number of national and grassroots organizations.
He is Speaker, Trainer & Coach for Communication, Business Development and Management with a global venture capital & enterprise development project.
