An awesome review was already done for this by Full2Faltu here. I am not going to write a big review or analysis or the movie or its characters, acting, direction, etc. I just felt that I had to express the feelings and emotions this movie evoked in me. Coming from a Maharashtrian family from Mumbai and personally knowing many such regular white collar straight-jacket Madhav Aptes, this movie gave me goosebumps, had me in tears, brought a smile to my face at times as the movie hit the right spot!

The movie definitely sets you off on a spiral of introspection. Brilliant is an understatement! A review in words really can’t do justice to this movie. The emotions that the audience goes through are the real review of this awesome work!

After Dhoom became a runaway hit, expectations were surely running high from the sequel. And it sure doesn’t disappoint! We see the return of Jai (AB jr.) and Ali (Uday Chopra), this time on the hunt for A (Hritik Roshan), a thief who is a master of disguise. The duo is joined by ACP Shonali Bose (Bipasha Basu) with a Lara Croft-esque entry. Sunehari (Aishwarya Rai) is added to the mix to complete a star-studded line up.
The movie is full of mind-blowing stunts that include sand-surfing in the deserts of Namibia, roller-blading through the heavy Mumbai traffic and base-jumping in Brazil. The locales are beautifully shot and the movie has an extremely sleek and stylish feel to it. The music, though not great, keeps the movie rolling forward. However, what the movie really lacks is a story. The screenplay is threadbare and is held together mainly by the nitrous-boosted action …

Went to watch Don a few days ago with some friends and one of them requested me not to write a review after the movie came to an end. I resisted the urge but the writing bug got the better of me and here I am writing about Don.
I tried my best to leave the comparisons with the original Don aside and I felt that the movie was…umm…well…not bad. Let’s look at the good and the bad points of the movie…
Good…
- As is typical of a Farhan Akhtar movie, this one too is quite sleek and stylish with some brilliant locales.
- The plot was good and the two twists in the movie (even though I predicted both) were quite good and must have taken many viewers by surprise.
- The camerawork was excellent through most of the movie.
Bad…
- The first half is quite slow and jumpy as …

Do cars have an ego?
Can cars be mean?
Can cars have an attitude?
Can cars smile, cry, laugh?
Can cars play pranks on other cars?
Can cars fall in love?
.
..

Do cars have emotions?

If you have ever wondered the above things, then at the end of this masterpiece from Pixar, I am sure you will have the answers. And the answer to all these questions is “Yes”.

Cars is a movie about a young race car Lightning McQueen and his (yes, you read it right – HIS and not it’s!) realization of the meaning of life. It’s a movie about the transformation of a rookie champion from a vain car to a car who realizes that there’s more to life than winning. It’s a movie where the race car learns that there are times when you need to slow down to smell the roses.

It’s a movie in which all humans, animals and even insects have been …
