    Revathy is a well-known, highly acclaimed film actress with over 16 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She has to her credit five Best Actress Filmfare awards for her performance in the Tamil films 'Mann Vasanai', 'Thevar Magan', 'Anjali', Telugu film 'Ankuram' and Malayalam film 'Kakothi Kaavil Appoopan Thadigal'. She was awarded the National Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the Tamil film, 'Thevar Magan' in 1992. In addition, she has also won the Tamilnadu State Award for 'Thalaimurai' in 1998. 'Mitr My Friend' was her first directorial venture. Her next film as a director, Phir Milenge (2004), created waves as one of the first Hindi movies to deal with the sensitive subject of AIDS. She was also a part of Mani Ratnam's stage show, Netru, Indru, Naalai.

Mumbai Meri Jaan… I had to write after seeing the film. I am sure most of you have seen it already and that I am practically the last to watch it.
It melted my heart to see a film that was from the heart, things that we speak about and never get down to doing. I agree with anurag, I too felt “why the hell didn’t I think of making a film like this???”
Kudos to Nishikant Kamat.
What a thought!!! Characters that we see in every day life, lines we hear ourselves speaking at times but have never bothered to look at its deeper meaning, a pace that as far as I am concerned needs a lot of guts to incorporate in a film and cast that I am really envious about, but I am very happy to have seen the film. A very good beginning… I am an amatuer blogger.

This is the beginning of a new chapter for me. One is always trying out new things in life and this is something that I am trying out for the first time.

I am not a regular blogger. I just have enough patience with my emails and looking up information that I want to read on the internet. Yes of course I try to keep in touch with my Yahoo group on my web site… not as much as I like to!!!

PFC was introduced to me by Anurag Kashyap when I met him at the IFFLA this April. I enjoyed reading it and wanted to be part of it…. so here I am.
