Further to my last message a few days back, gives me great pleasure to finalize the screening and timing of BLACK FRIDAY in San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles.
LA Screening: Wednesday, Feb 7, 2007, at 9:00 pm.
Cost : $6:00

= Om, You need to hire a jet or a helicopter to be able to make it by 7pm to that theater in LA from OC… no way in hell will we be able to make it by that time [-x … will have to wait till Friday when it comes out at Naz

oz..my guess is if it starts at 9…as its a long movie..it might get over by 11:45-12 midnight..and then the press thingy(maybe)…so…it might be in the wee hours of morning that we will be getting back home..and thursday being a working day..i dont think i can make it…

Oz- Defenitely for the next event will try and negotiate a better deal for PFC readers. This time hands tied, in fact it’s the same deal for even SAAFA members
Om- Screening starts at 9. It is 2.25 hour film, nothing post that. The press, etc will happen in intermission and prior to start.
Striker and others- Have STRONGLY told the distributors that they need to do similar stuff in NY and DC (in fact have sent a note to the CEO on that right now)

Oops forgot UK- Yes UK will be happening soon, since I am moving my mom from Delhi to London and there will be a SAAFA-UK soon, although not sure how it will sound when i say, South Asian AMERICAN films and arts based out of UK. With the current anti war slogans going on and with my Pro war stance…..will deal with that mountain when we reach there
I would love to go Striker but it is close to 75 miles from where i live in OC…
@ Striker – Let me explain in language you can understand ;)
It is almost double the distance between your place and Quantico, and the traffic is worse (although, not as bad as the rest of the roads to Northern Virginia). Even to make a 9:00 show, we would have to leave work early, and OM earlier than I because he works further away…
Regardless of what you see on TV, us poor folks in OC suffer when fun things happen in LA on school nights…

OM: Thanks, man. The Naz 8 website doesn’t list it as a “coming soon” attraction, which is why I was curious…
Nps Rakesh..indeed Naz8 doesnt carry the showtimings of BF..but we talked to the theatre owner last Saturday and also the theatre has tons of posters of BF…hopefully Naz will update its website tommorow or the day after
