Charlize Theron in “The Burning Plain” Poster

WP recently published The Burning Plain poster that is ready for it’s Italian release. Starring Charlize Theron and Kim Bassinger, The Burning Plain is about Sylvia (Theron) a beautiful restaurant manager whose cool, professional demeanor masks the sexually charged storm within. When a stranger from Mexico confronts her with her mysterious past, Sylvia is launched into a journey through space and time that inextricably connects her to these disparate characters, all of whom are grappling with their own romantic destinies. For Theron fans, there is a buzz about this being another Monster of a performance from Theron. The movie is written and directed by Guillermo Arriaga (Babel, 21 grams, Amores Perros)… not yet sure of it’s US and India release. Please fill in if you have any info. poster viaWorstPreviews

    if its arriaga, have to watch it. Is this his directorial debut, btw?

    I guess this is Arriga’s first after the professional split from Innaritu.
    A story @ Charlize going back to reconcile her tough childhood times with mother played by Kim B.
