A very well paced movie depicting life in the slums of Rio de Janeiro; shows survival of the fittest where one gang takes over the operations of another by eliminating them; and all this is done with great alacrity, nice comical touches, good acting and a superb background score. A must-watch movie.

It’s a very good movie with an interesting plot but I do not understand the whole point behind this post.

w’ll honestly i didn’t like the movie :( , the movie was good in parts with some touching scene. Otherwise story was not very new us. Specially for bollywood followers as we are used to watching films based on the gangsters of the slums. It might have been liked in West but in no way over here. & so i doubt why is it in the top 250 lists!!
Excellent movie. Watched it a while ago and I recall enjoying it immensely. A moving screenplay and some rather disturbing images, if I recall correctly.

Excellent movie!. Seen it more than 20 times already. Each and every scene is crafted with utmost details to perfection. From the discotheque scene to the li’ll ze killing scene. Cinematography and screen play at its best!!. Easily one of the best movies I have ever seen.
