Ok first of all for those who want to know whats the source for this mocvie let me tell you all that I do have the answer- will come to that soon.To start with the movie is 2 hrs 40 mins ( could have been easily 15 – 20 mins shorter ) and the best part of the movie is the 1st hr after the interval. The 1st half is pretty ordinary & the climax is very silly. But the hotel portion after the interval provides the laughter. Not surprisingly this portion is not original and is severely influenced by Priyan’s own Malayalam movie- Vettam which had Dileep in the lead.
The lead cast- Akshay,Sunil,Katrina & Sameera have hardly anything to do.When it comes to female artistes forget Katrina & Sameera, the meatier portion is given to Archana Puran Singh.Even Neha Dhupia, Aditi Govitrikar & Supriya Karnik have better scope than the Katrina and Sameera.Johnny Lever does quite well indeed and even Rajpal Yadav in a smaller role is decent.Paresh Rawal’s role doesn’t provide him the spark to flourish.
Manoj Joshi is of course in his element.Songs by Pritam are hardly impressive.Go for it if you have nothing better planned for the weekend, otherwise you’ll get to see it soon on DTH or satellite T.V.But its a movie thats been made quite economically and it should not be a loss to the producers.

When I was watching All The Best, it was very obvious that all the funniest parts were from the play it was based on, and the others were just tacked-on skits.

Hi, this time Priyadarshan takes his inspirations from two foreign flicks :
“Blame It on The Bellboy” (1992) & “The Towering Inferno” (1974)

Didn’t work for me. Except for a few moments here and there, the comedy was forced, and many scenes looked very amateurishly written and executed. And it was a pain to see one of my favorite actors Vikram Gokhale reduced to doing such tomfoolery of a role.

It is bad and from my point of view, this is the worst movie made by Priyadarshan Saab. It is too amateurish and only saving grace are Johny Lever and Rajpal Yadav…

sorry…don’t agree with you…Priyadarshan has made many worse than this…:P

DE DHANA DIDN’T
I give two stars
One for the efforts of Johny Lever, Asrani, Rajpal Yadav & Manoj Joshi
&
One for Priyadarshan – for keeping the involvement of Sunil Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Sameera Reddy & (to some extent) Akshay Kumar to a minimum. He should just have made the movie with the rest of the characters.
