really? I heard it was bad so never saw it.
When i was watching the film I felt that i was being fooled.
Bad movie. Felt cheated at the end. At times these film-makers feel that the audience can take in any kind of crap. This movie had Denzel W. What was he thinking when he signed the film? It can’t even be one that’s signed on for money only.
I really enjoyed the movie. I also felt I was being fooled, but in a good way
. Isnt that what good action movies are all about? Besides I have a action movie virus these days. Watched HULK(Ang Lee) & S.W.A.T yesterday.
My action film prescription reads – Hulk(Ang Lee), Rescue Dawn, Bank Job and few more.
mainak, watch flash point – for hand to hand action
Dabba
What was that Aronofsky film that inspired you to become a film maker? Maybe it was directed by someone else as I didnt see anything on IMDB.
Pi by aronofsky, and Following by Nolan
Thanks
It was FOLLOWING.
Who doesnt know Pi!
I got Pi. I got Pi!
can you imagine…growing up on a diet of indian movies and mainstream Hollywood movies that were released in India, coming to the US and in a span of 3 months watching and taking the following lessons (however incorrect)-
Pulp Fiction – Don’t need to go to film school to make a kickass film. Just watch a lot of movies. Of course, I will never be able to write dialogue like that.
Following – Make my debut with a Lo budget film that I can shoot on weekends if I have a tight screenplay.
The Sixth Sense – Race does not matter. If I have a great screenplay I too can do it.
Pi – Hmmm, so you can make a cool science based movie. Just need to find the right concept and write a dramtic story around it.
I had no choice but to become a filmmaker.
Reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally??? Mainak??!!!!
What do you mean Dpac?
Except for the bomb blast scene everything is just insipid.
