Very few title sequences/ credits “during” a teaser trailer have given me as many goose pimples as this!!
Prasoon Joshi, Binod Pradhan, Prasoon Joshi/Kamlesh Pandey/Rakeysh Mehra, P S Bharti, Samir Chanda, Nakul Kamte, Ronniew Screwvala, Rakeysh Mehra.. Put this against the title track! WOW!
The male vocals are simply kick ass.
The tracks are out on streaming.
Bhor – classical trip.
Dil gira dafatan – wtf is Ash King. he/she rocks! tu bin bataaye trip
Kaala bandar – Blaaze trip; GROOOVY, many ppl are gonna accuse this track of influences.
Aarti – awesome soul trip
Genda Phool – grrooovy female trio.
Rehna tu – souldful Rahman track, lots of stuff going on here, I guess a track that covers a greater span in the film.

prasoon sirji – ab kya kahun you are god of words. ek tarf maula, toosri taraff dil dafatan, phir yeh baanyi taraf bhi dil hai aur daayi taraf bhi..awe inspiring sir.
Man…first Dev D., and now this!! Haven’t heard it yet but from the reviews it has been getting, looks like one kick-ass album! That is something new for a Rahman album as well, since we don’t have to ‘give it a few listens’.
What would you say is more eclectic between Dev D and Dilli 6, though?

Just listened to songs once. Its gonna take lot of hearings for me to like the album or not. Found Genda Phool quite catchy. I love Rekha Bhardwaj’s voice. Bhor Bhaye is full on hindustani classical with Bade Ghulam Ali Khan saab and Shreya Ghoshal. Arziyan Maula is ~9 mins, the longest in recent past.
