Feedback on Dirty Pretty Things to Steve

Lets talk about Dirty pretty things today…. To start with, I wanna tell you that I am gonna watch it atleast two more times first to learn how the director has managed to design the pace of the film which is so fantastic.. and secondly how beautifully he has managed to weave the relationship of Okwe and Senay… As i always felt that there was so much love between them in the film. Some moments I want to study especially… say when he once tells her that I will be leaving, and she though jocularly asks him, but who will cook for me but means it seriously is so beautifully picturised, see a director should have a command over these little nuansces and should be able to make it more interesting Visually…. which Stephen Saab managed… Another scene is when he discloses to her that I come here to be with my wife, fuck… what a shock that was, another shock was when they are at the airport and we dont know if she will actually go, she asks him, are there any shops where they need maids in south africa…she is hinting at him to ask her not to go, and there comes a bomb… about valerie… his daughter, completely unexpected… theres one moment when he tells her that in new york there are cops who ride horses, and the trees are lit with Lights in winters and the parks convert into skiing grounds… and she emotionally tells him that I am not too sure that she really want that… Both want to be together but circumstances doesn not allow them to do so yaara…
The scene where in he is preparing for Senay’s operation is another shock when we see them actually design a plan to anesthise the hotel guy, mohammad and operate on him and remove his kidney and sell it off, just to teach him a lesson… The most beautiful momnet yaara again is when they are at the airport, she checks in through immigration and all and from across the glass she whispers I love you, and he replies back in the same, its shot in high speed (slow motion), plus the last shot, no major drama where he inserts two coins in the phone box, and calls his daughter an says, intense… emotional performance… “yes, its me Valeri, I am coming Home” fade to BLACK and end credits roll… WOW
what a wonderful film… In fact I d love to make a sequel to this film, as to what happens after they go to their respective places and how their lives shapes up… and Guess what? Since they part at the airport, I d also like to start the film wherein they again meet at the airport itself and that too by mistake and take the film from there… amazing that woud be… thanks a million guruji, Infact u r sent films are teaching me a lot… now i want to see Jacobs ladder… will keep you posted Buddy…
(Hi guys… what a place this PFC is… I met Steven Chatha through PFC, trust me I dont know how he looks like, he used to comment on my posts, over the period of time we became friends, form pfc we started to write to each other on our personal IDs. Eventually, just like OZ and Kartik and Karthik we too became friends, from professional talks our subects shifted to much personal ones and as the number of mails writte to each other increased so did our friendship, that Steve as i mentioned even without having seen me has helped me Financially and more importantly with DVDs that he keeps posting for me all way from Wolverhampton near London, My parents seeing the arrival of DVD couriers think, he i completely mad… even I used to but now I have changed my mind… In all what i am trying to share with you all is, see how human relations are built… And I am loving every bit of it… Stevey God bless u man, thanks a million abd happy birthday to you once again… Keep writing and yes keep sending those DVD’s… LOL…

A very well concocted piece of writing Surya… Im pretty amazed learning how the realtionship between the two of you developed. But yes, not surprised at all. And Im glad you’ve found such a good pal Steve.
Goes without saying that the film appears to be a ‘must-see’… And Im not left with any option other than coming over to Vikhroli, raiding your house and stealing this DVD from your place and treating myself to the beauty that this short film appears to be…
And yes, now finally… where the hell have you been? Why the disappearing act? Had been trying to reach you over the past couple of days. Is there some problem with your cell? You anyway have my cell number, so do call me back.
Both my films are shaping up well here. Have finished the entire scripting for the first one and I should be through with the second one in a bout a month’s time.

Well said striker, well said… Yup buddy will try to write as much as i can about the festival, yeh toh mera dharam siddha adikaar hain bhai… My only worry is Hope i find a cyber nearby… so that i can spend more and more time writing… It will be fun… Pictures? lets see am looking for a digital still camera to carry as I dont have one…
