Pretty interesting thriller, with a Hitchcockian feel to it. Does keep you engaged till the end, inspite of loopholes in the plot. Watch it for Anthony Hopkins at his wicked best.

Ah Yes! Nice brining this up Ratnakar.
Till the second last scene where Gosling checks the photos of the two revolvers, I didnt know if Hopkins is going to get nailed or not.

The lighting and the settings set the mood for the film. Too good. All the scenes are in in shades of dark blue grey and black with low dim lightings. It kind of gave a sense of mystery but also had a very surreal feel to it.

Hopkins and Gosling could build up a good chemistry onscreen. G’s arrogance at being the best and care a damn attitude eventually being put to test and Hopkins’ ‘Ha. You’ll not be able to indict me ever’…Good combo!
    I njoyed the film..

I really like Gosling’s choice of films. (Notebook, well, in terms of him doin something different it worked. Nothing else great @ the film. But The Believer, Stay, Lars and the Real girl and Half Nelson – all so different and are above avg films). Waiting for his next 3 ones which are in the pipeline.
