Happy Birthday Jiah Khan…
Hey guys,
Let me share one more thing with you. Today we had the music release of Nishabd at the J. W. Mariott and it was fantastic. The whole event was broadcast live on Red Fm and the occassion was graced by some great filmmakers, Technicians and of course by the lead start cast of the film Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and Jiah Khan along with Mr. Pravin nischal from the Adlabs and of course the Big Boss from Red FM.
Though the song ‘Rozana’ subg by Amitji and composed by Vishal Bhardwaj has the taken the nation with a storm, take light is no beyond as all the college crowd and youths here in Bombay have accepted ‘Take Light’ as a part fo their lingo. It was a gala affair, for the film as well as the very beautiful Jiah who was dressed in Black and was stunningly sexy and beautiful. Anurag Kashyap, my source of inspiriation was too present with Kumar Mangatji. It was a very formal affair, also it was aired in Delhi, Bombay and calcutta live.
All said and done, it was the biggest day for Jiah, as it was a gala affair and her first ever exposure to the media/press and the world at large. Its really a good thing and wil help her in the long run. Also 20th Feb happens her birthday and this pretty young thing also turns 20. So whoever reads this post is most welcome to wish her a very happy birthday and all the best for her career. She has really slogged a lot for this film and Amitji was also all praises for her as an actor and for the kind of talent she posses. She was very confident while answering the media, though she was a little nervous initially but she just took everybody with her intellect as well as charm. while talking to her i realized that she had bought a 1000/- $ gown, but refused to wear it and come to the MUSIC RELEASE< NBut hey Jiah, i hope to see you in your new outfit on the 20th at your Birthday party. I too will try to come dressed formally.
But it was absolutely a pleasure working with you, its been four and half years that i have been associated with RGV and trust me never ever have i had such great experience working with any of the actors. You were so much a part of us, the entire crew. I enjoyed every bit of working with you. Whether it was rehearsing the scenes nd dialogues with you, partying with you at Isaac residency where in we used to smuggle you out at night for a session of Dumb Charades and drinks or just simply spending time with you chatting about anything and everything. You gelled so well in the entire unit that within no time you were friends with everyone in the unit. You made all the difference as the entire unit just fell in love with you just because of the kind of human being you are. You were too good and its a very humble request that you continue to be the same. Atleast I am looking forward to working with you again, promise me, whenever I become a director and whenever I come to you with a script that will be worthy of having you, you wont refuse me, ok Jiah? I would love to have you around in each and every other shoot. Will miss you big time J.
So tell me and all PFC people that how does it feel to become a star. You were hounded by sixty seventy media personnel, though you were very confident on stage, how did you feel when they mobbed you? Though we were standing in one corner witnessing the BIG DAY of yours career, your launch, i will be more than happy to hear it from you. Your life is gonna change drastically, the freedom that we all are going to enjoy, you might not, you wont be able to walk on the streets alone, what, what does it mean it to you J? Are you excited about it, or maybe scared kbowing the kind of person you are? Do let me know, as its possible that we might loose touch once the project is over, what will remain is only memories, all the good and the bad things we went through while making this film. But while it lasted we had a blast and i hope the same for you, in case if any person of the Ad department unknowingly hurt you or upset ypu, i am extremely sorry for that as we all are/were learning good cinema. Last but not the least I wish you a very very happy birthday again as i am eagerly looking forward for your birthday party. Please ensure the music rocks, I am gonna perform an Item number especially for you, its will be my Birthday gift for you. Love you and love you with all my heart. All the best for your future and your career, dude you are going to rock.

thank you for wishing me happy birthday in advance. you’d better come dressed up to my party, and behave my family will be around :)
god last night was so surreal. i was a bundle of nerves sitting up there next to Mr B…and everytime i was asked a question and started answering he would look at me…so that just added to my nervousness so in the end i think i completly sounded like a fool. anyway i strong feel i shouldve worn a skirt that way everyone one wouldve been distracted rather than focusing on my answers. but rgv really took the cake for last night. his answers were hardcore one liners..haha was so funny..and witty.
well thank god thats over…it was easier to do the film..this stuff is so over the top.
(i wonder if in the future i can put a clause in my contract stating that i be kept away from every media person…but well its all part of being someone today…media make and break you..ive realised that till today even Mr B has no control over what media prints…so who am i! )
and surya dont worry i will not change…im too rebellious and wild to every succumb to the RIGHT way of being an actress…i will go wherever i want! when i want!!!!…(pls dont quote me on this in 3 yrs time)

Hey Jiah - You were absolutely fine, just the way you were and never ever did i feel that you were nervous, if you are saying you were while answering and being next to Mr. Bachchan than i must say that BOSS you are in the right profession, no where did anyone feel so. HA HA HA HA especially with regards to that question when that reporter asked you if it was a great ‘kick’ and the way you answered and countered question as to what she/he meant was mindblowing. Aur RGV ke kya kahe? Main to uss aadmi ke talent aur intelligence se NISHABD ho gaya hoon. Woh bhi peechle dus saalon se. Happy Birthday to you once again in advance and yes yes yes… i promise i will behave the way one is supposed to at Birthday parties, pls ensure that the music is good. I am goona perform an item number for you on this very lovely song ‘TAKE LIGHT’.
Baarish - Meri jaan, yes i did had such a great time at the release> what i enjoyed the most was the birth of a Star called Jiah Khan. Trust me she is gonna rock the art world. Hope she always gets good roles to play. By the way she is an intense actor, will rock in serious roles. As far as pictures are concerned i could not get them clicked, as i was in the moment seeing Jiah, Amitji and Ramuji talk.
Jiah - As far as your dress is concerned i think you were looking just fine in whatever you were wearing. Though i personally prefer to see you in your torn jeans and white shirts… and by the way that diamond ring was just too cool…

Happy birthday, Jiah! I had mine recently too- on the 7th and have just turned 17. BTW, you look awesome in Nishabd- soo innocently and aesthetically sexy, plus, great attitude to flaunt.. Way to go Jiah!

Kartik - Somebody asked him a question regarding him making the film in Telugu and whether he is gonna have a ties up with RED FM then also… to which he replied in the negative in a very funny manner. Next question was Ramuji why did you choose this title called Nishabd only and not any ther one, what was the profound thought behind calling Nishabd Nishabd? The reporter made it sound it very intelligent, there was a moment of silence in the Ball room, everybody’s eye balls are fixed on an entity called Ramu, wanting to hear him and his intellectual thought and reason behind calling Nishabd, Nishabd. And do you know what it was? Ramu, “i just thought it sounds very intersting, so i called it Nishabd, there was no special reason other than this”. bolega toh KLPD. He even got a liitle anxious when the RJ did not call Amitji on the dias first, Amitji was sitting in the audience first row, and she announced the screening of ‘Rozana’ song, by now Ramuji, Vishal Bhardwaj, Praveen Nischal, Jiah all were on the dias, Ramuji couldnt stop from asking her what the hell are we going to do here sitting alone? he immediately came down from the dias and went and sat next to Amitji, he was quickly followed followed by Vishal, Jiah and Pravin nischal himself. So thats how the man is. Though it happened very subtly, no body got to know it. Except for very few people who know him a bit. But a great show put up RED FM. Hats off to them.

About Ramu…sample this…it was celebration party of Sarkar.One tv reporter was doing live interview with Ramu.
Reporter (very excited): Hamare saath hai Sarkar film ke nirdeshak Ram Gopal Verma. Ramu, aapki film D ne bhi accha karobaar kiya. Aur ab aap Sarkar ki safalta mana rahe hain. Jahir si baat hai ki aap khush to bahut honge.
Ramu(little irritated) : Nahi. bikul nahi.
Reporter(confused): Matlab…hmmm….ahh….umm
….hnnn….naa ???
Ramu(in his stylish hindi): Matlab. I mean. Koi bhi khush hoga na. Anyone will ne happy. Whats is there to ask.
Reporter( no expression) : hmm…ummm…i mean…hannn…anhiii… :-ss~X([-(:-ss~X(

nishabd and ya all those rumors abt her being
aamir khan’s step sister ..haha…who knows and
who cares?…but honestly speaking i feel very
strongly that she has it in her ..she will be a
slow starter but she will rock for sure , i have
already decided to cast her in my film(as if i have the power;) )

Guys, its 8:00 Am and i have just returned from Jiahs birthday party… can you imagine how much fun we must have had??? There was good food, good hosts, i would especially like to mwntion Giggan Shukla, the regional Director (sales) from the amby valley hospitality, she was the best and the hottest of all the people and food served on the platter. There was RGV, Amar Mohile the music director, Kunal Mehta the sound designer, Amit Roy the DOPE, Kusum Punjabi the writer, Amri Gill the Dialogue writer, Prashant Raj aka Jai from ram Gopal varma ke sholay, punkaj Kharbanda COO RGV film Factory, Mr. Pravin Nischol from the Ad Labs, Sheel our Executive producer and some of Jiahs very close family members. It was sucj great fun. Am already looking forward to her twenty first birthday, and mind you people the birthday girl was looking absolutely fabulous in her long dress.
lol surya.. if its 8AM and u just came back that just tells how it might have gone :P .. hopefully it wasnt too wild :P
