Actor and Ad Film maker Gajraj Rao who plays Dawood Phanse (Taklaya or the bald smuggler guy in the Black Friday Poster) mailed me this short film which he and his team at Codered Films made for Public Service Commision….

The song is pretty pleasant too …

    nice. very touching.
after watching this video, I’m reminded of this video that I’d seen long time ago on DD. It was this video where its raining heavily, ppl running helter skelter. An old man, a cobbler, overhears “jana gana mana” playing on the radio. He stands up, turns out to be handicapped.
Beautiful..just the same. Anybody got a link to that?

Even that video (old cobbler standin t attention to National anthem) was made by Codered films - Gajju bhayya …

I saw that film and when Gajju Bhayya told me he had made it.. .I literally fell on his knees !!

Will try and get the link from Gajju bhayya

Great work, excelent visual & audio content to communicate the social message. I know colorful is their world as have been working with the Blind, teaching them photography which was exhibited at NCPA, Mumbai in Feb 07 and would travel to other cities of India in 2007. Check the site http://www.blindwithcamera.org to view the work

We need iniciative like this film to correct our prejudices towards blind and disability
