I had salad for dinner!
No I didn’t. May be i would, if I was too bloody drunk or if the salad had alcohol in it. So this post is about Jab We Met. No, not the movie, when I met Oz Bhai. May be this post should have been on my personal blog, but as I don’t have any & also as it has some relevance here in PFC, I take this liberty of sharing what happened here in Bangalore, Jab We Met. Me, Oz Bhai & 2 more filmi keeda log, Crazyrals & Vee aka Oxy.
I have been religiously following Oz Bhai on DesiTrain & then on PFC for almost 3 years now & till a few months back, never thought that I would ever get to meet this madcap cinephile. Thanks to PFC becoming the monster that it is today, Oz Bhai is in apna gaon, apna des, meeting people & exploring opportunities to add more muscle to the monster! More power to PFC.
OK, what about the fucking salad? you ask. Patience is a virtue my dear friend. We’ll get to it. We had one hell of a time & I am so happy meeting him, itna khush main kisi se milke nahi hua by god. ;-) Considering that we had met for the first time, I was thoroughly surprised at the comfort level he showed. Felt more like in the company of an elder bro that I never had. (Pardon the emosanal you know what).
The talk covered films, recession, cutting chai, credit cards, gyaan, ambitions, Orange County & his love for his biwijee cropped up more than thrice. ;-) He shared so much film industry dope and each one more amazing than the other. Due to censorship I can’t share it on a public platform, but do insist to hear, especially about the ‘jhol-jhaal dat happens in the industry‘ if you ever happen to meet Oz Bhai. You will be left gaping wide at the madness.
Thanks to Oz Bhai, I was introduced to the mad idea of having raita with beer. He claims it is good for liver & assures no hangover. Dadimaa ka nuskha. LOL. And yes, I was enlightened with his fabulous gyaan session on the ‘art of pick up’. So – ‘I had salad for dinner‘ was a conversation starter that he had recommended to pick up girls at a pub. Not sure if that will work in mera bharat mahan, but its a good excercise to start with. OM would know better.
I shall remain indebted to Oz Bhai, PFC & all other mates that I have, courtesy PFC, forever & ever. On second thoughts, I will keep donating regularly to the PFC Fund. That’ll make more sense what with recession et al. BTW dear reader, did you make your contribution yet? :-)

hey Magic/OZ, does the raita and beer combo really work? If it does, i’ve stumbled upon the greatest discovery of the decade. Considering my doctor has warned me to stay off beer. please reply. And please say yes.
