Indian Visions Filmfest DC-Call for Submissions
Hello Dear PFCites!
I want to bring to your attention that Indian Visions
(www.indianvisions.org), a presentation of Filmfest DC
(www.filmfestdc.org), will be having its second, annual Indian Film
Festival of Washington DC in the second week of November, right after
the MIAAC film festival in New York. The tentative dates are November
14-17 and will be taking place in the Washington, DC area theaters.
The venues and other pertinent information will be updated on our
website as and when they become available.
If anyone is interested in submitting a film (or knows someone who
might be interested in submitting a film), please contact me at
amandasodhi@gmail.com so I can provide you with further details about
how you can send us a DVD screener.
Our deadline for call for submissions is September 15, 2008. We are
accepting both feature length films and short films, documentaries and
narratives.
While we are in the process of updating the Indian Visions Web site:

year’s film festival.

Can people submit the films to this festival and then PFCOne?
If this festival guys publish the movie on their site.
Will PFCOne discard it or keep it from their selection?

Can someone from PFC involved with PFC One please answer Kuldip’s question regarding simultaneous submissions of films to both Indian Visions and PFC One? Indian Visions has no problem with it, but I’m not sure if the PFC One contest rules involve not submitting the film elsewhere until the contest is over…
Kuldip and Amanda..here is the rule
“Your movie should not have been released or published anywhere online, video or television prior to the festival. No YouTube, Google Video and such submissions please, such submissions will be immediately rejected.”
