Watch India’s Best Choreographed Song (seriously!)
This has been going around for a couple of months. I first saw it on TV. I think it was B4U… (did the programmers there even see what they had bought)… and had walked away. A few weeks later it was on YouTube. And today I was shocked to find that it is one of the most upcoming videos on YouTube.
Those of you who get easily swayed to the thought “I too can become a hero” are strongly advised to skip this post. Seriously.
Those of you who have any sharp objects near you (knife, letter opener, sharp paper edge, pen, pencil) or any heavy objects near you (desktop,laptop, mouse) or any thing you could strangle yourself with (wires, wires more wires) – are advised to put all those away from your reach, before you watch this video.
Vasan Bala saw this video today and had this to say
for fuck’s sake this was shot on FILM……it went to the processing lab and they even fucking edited this……..there was a singer….someone wrote it….someone sung it…there was a studio booked for this……someone held a crew at ransom to shoot this….how the hell did anyone pull this off……i soooo want to watch the entire film…….HOW CAN I FIND IT?
And I would seriously like to ask you to help him out if you know the name of the movie this song is from.
Undoubtedly, this is the best choreographed song on camera ever in India, that will drive everyone to suicide and hence the caution at the beginning of this post.
And here’s the video… and I can’t even say “enjoy”… after this video, we shall all attain, truly… and purely… the bliss state of Nirvana…

The comments on youtube mention the film as Pyaasi Raat…dunno how true that is though.
I checked for this on IMDB but came out zilch. Even googling Pyaasi Raat wouldn’t give me anything concrete.

By the way the singer is Mohd. Aziz…. if any one was interested…

You should watch the movie.. Unfortunately, no one is ready to put subtitles for it. So, people who do not understand Thamizh can’t enjoy the way it should be.
But, do check out his Automobile designs (He is an Automobile engineer in the movie) that he has on the walls of his apartment here… truly one of a kind…. :D

seriously though this is a fine example of bollywood abant garde being made with an existentialist point of view. don’t you wonder where are those terrible dancers and the people you see spazz out on the dance floor in our movies. here you go, even an average joe has his singing-dancing-romance-around the trees; not choreographed to perfection, instead spontaneous, and so freakin’ real-meets-bollywood.
