Me thinks Al P sleeped walked thru this role. RB ok; and the climax just happened, by chance. Pacino, at times, doesn’t become the role, the role becomes him. Unfortunately.
Typo…RW I meant…
@Arthi V: he was required to sleep-walk through the role :D
jokes aside, i think he did a great job; and he actually made it look so easy and effortless.
yes, when compared to his other works in SOW, GF and Scarface he was not so good; but when compared to Oceans13, he was much much better.
in Oceans13 he literally slept through the role, not much was required of him.
One of my all time favourite films. However, I have heard that the Nordic original it has been adapted from is just as good, if not better! Back in college, I had somehow downloaded that version, but couldn’t get subtitles. Hence, still haven’t seen it.

Anyone who has seen this version?
Prakriti, oh that’s where they have got the idea of having sunlight at 10PM :D
norway – land of midnight sun
but nolan has moved the setting to alaska, effect is still the same though.
A wonderful film indeed, blew me away when i had seen it
