Hahaha. Am sure Aamir wouldn’t want to be saddled with plagiarism concerns when he would rather worry about his Oscar chances ;)
But, before we go further, one thing needs to be highlighted. The source is Wikipedia. Even high schools in the US dissuade students from using Wikipedia as their sole reference point for homework assignments.
Will wait for word from another source. Mebbe Aamir can be goaded into making a post on his blog ;)

Nowadays most big hindi films are released in many AMC theaters with a lot of fan fare. There is a likelihood NY Times will even review it. And Aamir will actively be doing publicity here for TZP. With all this it can be embarassing to not give some form of official credit to Nolan or Memento.
But then what do I know?
