jaisa ki amitabh bachchan ne film ke ant men kaha hai- yah kahani hai jodha akabar ki. inki mohabbat ki misaal nahin di jati aur na hi inke pyar ko yaad kiya jata hai. shayad isliye ki itihas ne unhen mahatv hi nahin diya. jabaki sach to yah hai ki jodha akabar ne ek sath mil kar chupachap itihas banaya hai.
isi itihas ke kuchh pannon se jodha akabar vakif karati hai. mughal saltanat ke shahanshah akabar aur rajapoot rajakumari jodha ki premakahani shadi kee rajamandi ke baad aaranbh hoti hai.ashutosh govarikar aarambh ke bis minat sare characters ko sthapit karane men bitate hain. yuddh ke maidan men bade ho rahe akabar ko ham dekhate hain. bairam khan ki dekh-rekh men akabar gaddinashin hote hain aur hemu ke sath panipat ki nirnayak ladaee hoti hai. kaha jata hai ki is ladaee ke ant men akabar ne hemu ka sir kalam kar gaji ka khitab liya tha, lekin ashutosh govarikar ke akabar aisa karane se mana kar dete hain. daraasal ashutosh ke akabar secular,tolerant aur prajahitaishi akabar hain. ashutosh ne akabar se film ke ant men kahalava bhi diya hai- yah bat bhi aap sab par roshan rahe ki har majahab ke ehataram aur bardasht karane ki chahat hi aane vale hindustan ko sunahara bana sakati hai. akabar ki yah khvahish aaj ke hindustan ke liye bhi prasangik hai. durbhagya kee baat hai ki aisi film ko lekar nirarthak vivad chal raha hai aur rajasthan ke darshak ise nahin dekh pa rahe hain.
film men ek prasang aata hai, jab akabar tirthayatra mahasool samapt karane ki ghoshana karate hain. saval uthata hai ki shahi khajane men mahasool khatm karane se jo kami aayegi, use kaise bhara jayega? akabar ka javab hota hai- shahi khajana hai kya? ham mugal afagan ya doosare gairamulkiyon ki tarah lutere nahin hain, jo hindustan ki daulat loot kar khajana bharane ki havas se bhare rahe. yah hamara mulk hai aur ham isake jism par loot ke jakhm nahin dekh sakate. aur isake liye hamen apani avam ko unaka majahab dekhe bagair sine se lagana hai. gaur karen ki aashutosh keval jodha aur akabar ki premakahani nahin dikha rahe hain. ve 450 sal ke pahale ke itihas ke pannon ko palat kar kuchh aur bhi batana chah rahe hain. kya hamare shasak sun aur dekh pa rahe hain?
akabar ke vyaktitv ke nirman men jodha ki pratyaksh-apratyaksh bhoomika ko bhi film rekhankit karati hai. kahani ke dvandv ko jodha ki do sharto se samajha ja sakata hai. in sharto men hi bhavishy ke akabar ki soch ki buniyad padati hai. jodha ki mang hai- hamari pahali mang hai ki hamen apane dharma, apani aastha aur rahan-sahan banaye rakhane ki poori svatantrata di jayegi. kisi halat men apana dharm badalane ko vivash nahin kiya jayega. doosari mang hamen apane prabhu ki moorat sath lane di jayegi. ise bithane ko mahal ke hamare kaksh men ek mandir ki sthapana karayi jayegi. ye hain hamari do mange. akabar jodha ko akele men aashvasan nahin dete. ve sarvajanik taur par kahate hain- ham rajapoot rajakumari ke bekhauf jajbe ki sadagi ko salam karate hain. ham unhen yah bata den ki ham bhi isi sarajamin ki paidaish hain, jis par vo paida huee hain aur ham bhi vahi jajba rakhate hain. hamara faisala hai ki aamer ki rajakumari ka yah rishta hamen manjoor hai. unaki sharte inshaallah labj-b-labj poori hongi.
kah sakate hain ki shadi ki in do sharto aur fir jodha ki samajhadari ne akabar ki soch ko vah disha di, jis par chalate huye unhonne bad men din-ye-ilahi ki avadharana pesh ki. jodha unhen fatah karane aur raj karane ka fark samajhati hai aur ham kalantar men dekhate hain ki akabar kaise apani praja ke sath-sath jodha ka bhi dil jitate hain. yah ek aisi premakahani hai, jiski samajikata tatkalin rajaniti aur satta ko bhi prabhavit karati hai.
is premakahani ki bhavyata ko aashutosh govarikar ne kala nirdeshak nitin chandrakant desai, kemaramain kiran devahansa, koriyografar chinni or rekha prakash tatha sanvad lekhak k p saksena ke sahayog se hasil kiya hai. k p saksena ke sanvad sidhe dil men utarate hain aur manas ko mathate hain. mumbai ke samvad lekhak unase sikh sakate hain ki kaise vibhinn charitron ki bhasha bhinn rakhi ja sakati hai. geetkar javed akhtar aur sangitkar e r rahaman vishesh taur par ullekhaniya hain. donon ne milakar film ko uchit sangitik sangat di hai. khasakar film ke drshyon ke prabhav ko badhane men pash?rrv sangit ka sundar upayog huaa hai. film ka kala or shilp paksh behatarin hai.
acting ke lihaj se hrithik roshan sabase aage hain. jis mehanat aur lagan se unhonne akabar ko sakar kiya hai, vah prashansaniya hai. prthviraj kapoor ki katyi yaad nahin aati. aishvarya rai ne rajapoot rajakumari ke darp aur saundary ko achchhi tarah abhivyakt kiya hai. yah unaki ek aur yadagar film ho gaee. any kalakaron men ila aroon natakiya ho gaee hain. poonam sinha akabar ki man ki bhoomika men janchati hain. nikitan dhir pahli hi film men aakarshit karate hain. is film ki bhavyata men un saikadon-hajaron anam junior artists ka sabase bada yogadan hai, jinhonne yuddh aur nritya ke drshyon ko vishalata di hai.
ant men hindi filmon ki jatiya parampara men bani aashutosh govarikar ki jodha akabar ullekhaniy aur darshaniy film hai. hamen aur bhi aisi filmon ki jaroorat hai.

this is damn irritating and I hope group moderators will take note. why should someone write in Hindi in an English forum? I have nothing against anyone preferring to write in any language, but if I start doing the same in Kannada - using English alphabets - how would you feel, my friend? Please try to understand, and please write in English, even if you feel you are not comfortable with it. Here we are sharing our interest about movies, and not our knowledge of English - so we won’t mind even if you write in ‘toota foota’ English.
Dear Moderator: if this continues, and if I demand that I will write in Kannada, can you refuse?
I think a rough translation would be useful, ‘cos it’s damn irritating trying to read Hindi in Roman script. Takes a lot away from making a objective fair evaluation of the actual content.

Whether it is by choice or not, large majority of articles on PFC are about hindi cinema and the irony is that the first few comments on this article are complaints against it being in hindi.
Guys, just skip it if you dont want to read it. There are so many other good articles on PFC. Stop telling PFC how to run its site.
BTW, I am not part of the PFC team, I simply a reader who visits PFC simply because of the variety and quality it promises.

This comes up whenever Ajay writes a post.
While the rest of us write in English, knowing that it is the common language amongst visitors, Ajay writes in Hindi because it is the language he knows.
He is the only author on PFC who does this, the rest of the authors provide English when they write Hindi phrases. And, we allow Ajay the right to write in Hindi because Ajay is a valued contributer to this site, his posts are insightful and generate good discussions and comments.
I only wish that someone would volunteer to translate his posts so I can see for myself why he is such a loved author here…
I tried to translate - the first paragraph was easy to translate - then in the next paragraph he uses word like: aakarshaka, reshedari, etc. and i was lost.
as i have said before ajay bhai, if you are capable of translating your articles in English, then you should. because, there are people out there like me who wants to improve their hindi vocabulary. And when you don’t provide translation.. it don’t help, maan. you are discouraging more people to not read hindi…. by not providing translation.
i agree w/ Prashant….we shd write only in English, otherwise pretty soon, we’ll be reading articles in the various languages of India (i’ll contribute the Punjabi/Hindi pieces:)). Also, we have to honor one of the very few things that unite India and Indians worldwide (even though it was a leftover from the British rule, but thats a different story altogether for later discussion).

i think most of PFC readers don’t have problem with Ajay’s writings. he should continue his style.
there should not be any prob with hindi articles…if anyone has one should not read it as simple as it goes……
If we can watch hindi films, and as we are on a platform that is for movies(..and a bulk of it for Hindi Movies), then what’s the whole issue about reading an english script that contains HINDI words ???? The same words when spoken are the dialogues of Hindi Movies, which we supposedly all understand, and hence discuss here……
Another noteworthy mention - KANNADA is no HINDI. And comparing THE NATIONAL LANGUAGE with any other regional language( with full respect to each one of them, including my mother tongue) is idiocy, and its time the Hindi-haters get this into their head.

Jodha akbar is a great movie, with handsome actor, hritik and handsome villain, nikitan dhir.
Personally, I don’t think there is an issue with writing in Hindi. No one is forced to read or comment on this. I love reading a post in any language I can understand.
Also, since there is an EXPLICIT comment from the editor that this post is NOT in english should act as a deterrent. If people still read then there should not be any compalint. Regarding the use of certain kinds of words, I think that should be the prerogative of the author.

Yeh pehli baar hai ke mujhe Apke likhe hue lekh ko padhne ka soubhaagya milaa hai. Bahut dinon baad hindi mein padhne likhne ka aanand prapt hua hai. Isliye main aapka aabhaari hoon. par aapke is lekh ke kuch hisson se mujhe jo aakshep hai uksa aadhar main yahaan likhne ki koshish karoongaa.
Yeh kahaani, itihaas ke tathyon par gadhi kam aur prerit adhik hai. Yeh baat to Akbar ke charitr Ain-e-Akbari ke lekhak Abul Fazal hi kehte hain. Aap us pustak ki koi bhi anuvadit pustika padh len, usme yeh spasht roop se likhaa hai, ke Jodhaa se Akbar ka koi prem nahin tha, balki Jodhaa woh raajkumari thin jinke saath Akbar ne bahut zyaada samay bitaaya. Main yeh jaanta hoon ke hum is chalchitra ki aitihaasik moolon par vivaad nahin kar rahe hain, kintu, mujhe naitik roop se aapke is kathan par aakshep hai.
Abhi main sirf is chalchitra ke daayare mein reh kar kuchh kehnaa chaahoonga. Haan, yeh chitra, bahut hi bhavya hai. Aur koi bhi kahaani jo dharm, panth, jaati aadi vicharon par nirpekhstaa ki baatein karti ho, aisi kahaaniyon ka samarthan aur chal chitra ke roop mein parivartan zaroori hai. Main is baat par aapse bilkul sehmat hoon. Par appko kya yeh nahin lagtaa ke agar koi kalaakaar kisi patr ke roop mein humein dikaayi de, to us patr ke har us pehlu se us kalaakar to vyatigat roop se parichit hona chaahiye? Us patr ka rehen sehen, shishtaachaar, bol aadi vishayon par thoda dhyaan dena chahiye ke nahin? Is baat ko agar app theek maante hein, to kya aapko nahin lagtaa ke Jodhaa ke patr ke bolon ka uchcharaN theek nahin tha? Akbar ke vyaktiv ka parivartan, use vichaaron ka mool aadi sab nirdeshak ki kalpana hai. Main is baat ko thos roop se isliye keh saktaa hoon kyonki Akbar ke vichaaron ko Aain-e-Akbari mein savistaar varNan kiyaa gayaa hai.
Agar koi bhi nirdeshak apni kalpana ke aadhar par chitra ke har ek pahlu ka samarthan kare, to is kalpanik chitra ko hum aitihaasik roop se kaise vaad vivaad ka vishay baayein? Aur agar kisi chitr ke mukhya nayak nayika dikhne mein sundar hon to chitra ko achcha maana jaaye to mujhe aur kuchh nahin kehna.
Mujhe yeh chitra dikhne mein bahut sundar par aadhar aur mool se bahut hi maamooli lagi. Aapke jawaab ki prateekha karoongaa..
