Some nice songs , top class camerawork and some sweet moments make this a light romantic drama a good one time-watch. If not for the loose ends in the story , it could have been a very good film
A no nonsense quickie. Sure to make u leave the theater with a smile. Some really good performances and pleasant music. There are some some dull moments but they are not long enough to bore you.

Seems to b good…..but then why is it that every review is bashing up this film incl. Rajeev masand whose reviews i mostly follow…but going by the comments posted on PFC this seems to eb a good flick….Out of the three releases this week, this seems to be the best of the lot….though im confused whether to watch this or all the best…can some1 plz tell me????
Most critics want to criticize a movie for the sake of it. MAMK is certainly a one time watch , it has its moments although few ; and some superb songs “Dont say Alvida” , “Rabba” , “Tum ne Socha” .
Aditya , I would suggest go watch ALL THE BEST as the reports are quite good . If you want to watch another movie , watch ,MAMK …..I can watch it again only for its music , visual appeal of the movie and Kareena Kapoor’s earnest performance
Hahaha UTV has got absolutely conned into supporting this excuse of a movie.Prem Soni the writer-director doesnt know whether he’s intending to make it as a serious take on marital problems or make it a light hearted fun film.The songs are very average, the best of the lot – dont say Alvida comes in right at the start.Salman hardly has a presence in the movie and appears disinterested.this one wont work either for Salman fans, the audience in general or even for the producers.Sad but true.

also heard UTV signed a 9 film contract with Anurag Kashyap…
not aware of UTV backing out, looks difficult as Sohail paying UTV for the same @ the last minute could be tough.

it was in midday a couple of days back … report headline “case of the missing producer”
reportedly the posters no longer carry “UTV and Sohail Khan present” but is only “Sohail Khan presents” … so maybe yeah UTV might pay up the amount but somewhere it seems like they want to keep their hands off this one…
what movie man… every scene which could ve been shot and still have the same feeling in 2 minutes, is shot for 10 minutes…’main’ and ‘mrs Khanna’ are given ample screentime but never does it build up… ‘mr khanna’ walks in and out cuz he is the star, warna not needed, just an on the phone mr khanna could ve been enough… this could ve been a real nice movie if handled well … like those ruskin bond kind of stories that leaves you warm… the storyline was also good in terms of core plot…. guess they should take chance to remake and re release it… anybody having tickets for the first chance should be given a free show (and of course I should ve had wings)… sadly but yes could ve been a real nice movie.. maybe the best amongst the 2009 diwali trio..
eeks.. wait… after i wrote this it stuck me.. it might be sanjay leela bhansali who just re made and re released sawariyaa … damn, he didnt even give me a free ticket if i had shown him my thursday night premier for Saawariya…
salmaan is always looking superb in any role
Average movie. Lot of dangling pointers…….at places becomes boring. Starting is bit boring. Sick of love at first sight. Ek baar millte he i do not think so that a guy proposes a gal to marry him.
Age is clearly visible on Salman’s face.
So watched this one (PS where are you?). I’d have to agree with Sethu sir. I was just 10 minutes into the movie and already looking for it to end. Since I had paid money, I managed to watch it fully.
