Manjadikuru A.K.A Lucky Red Seeds, a Malayalam movie directed by debutant filmmaker Anjali Menon has turned out to be the star performer at the recently concluded South Asian International Film Festival held at New York. The movie according to Anjali Menon is about “childhood memories of homecoming”. The awards won by the film are Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography ( Pietro Zurcher ), Best Narrative Feature- Jury Award and Best Emerging Talent- for 14 year old Vyjayanthi.
Jointly produced by NFDC, Mirchi Movies and Little Films, here’s hoping that the movie also gets a well deserved theatrical release shortly. Congratulations to Anjali Menon and the entire team of Manjadikuru.
