Firefox 3.5, the browser (for the uninitiated), is coming out (next week) with a version where they are making it outrageously simple to edit and watch videos right in your browser. No more plugins like Flash, Silverlight, QT, WMP required in your browser. Yes! Videos will play directly from the browser without ANY add ons required and you can edit videos right in the browser window! Check the video out

Neat! The wizardry that I am waiting on next is the motion-sensing Natal from the Redmond rodeo. BTW, just gotta share this – even if it’s OT – watched an old Arnie sci-fi on Sunday and it’s mind boggling to see some of the coolest imaginations (courtesy some creative script writing) come true only a few years later.
Natal was in a qwiki here : http://passionforcinema.com/no-controller-gaming-project-natal/
It is pretty awesome, I’m just apprehensive about using thin air for a steering wheel
yep, and the next step is to marry those motion sensing capabilities with the ubiquitous web browsing and viola you end up with an interface which kinda feels like it’s from the minority report prop bag.
