Here are some questions from the Film Quiz that I conducted at Starmark (the erstwhile Landmark) here in Calcutta some time back. Thought it would be a good idea to post them here. Write in with your answers and try not to google. Will put up the answers — and the names of the people who got a particular answer right for the first time — at the end of the post before this post logs out of the PFC home page. Best of luck.

I have no idea about this film (just imdb-ed to see it’s a Fellinni film)…I just based my answer on the other two films. But now it seems i am wrong.
And protagonist means any lead character male OR female.
I think that u me aur hum , do aankhen bara haath the actres and the director of the movies are married to each other . Sam will be with the english movie
@Krishna - Nights of Caribia has a very strong lead character called “Caribia” a naive prostitute played by supremely talented Giulia Masina who was Fellini’s wife .
Pratim: Wonderful quiz. Most of them have been answered. My attempts:

The 15th one isn’t Mother India I guess. Nor is it lagaan/RDB. Now I am curious what could it possibly be?
Pavan Jha has got both 15 and 13 right. Just checked. The film for 15 is Rajnigandha.

Oops..I checked it here. It says ‘”Rajnigandha” won the Best Picture at the Filmfare Awards in the year 1974, both the Popular Award and the Critics Award’ ..

Hey Pratim, great quiz. Don’t you want it to make a regular feature, or at least an occasional one? BTW, with ref to Q15, I think the way so-called film awards are mushrooming, you need to specify which award it was - my guess is Filmfare, right?
