Mumbai – ACT3
Hello,
It’s been 24 hours since my third ‘move’ to Mumbai.
The first was when I was lucky to move into an office, the second when I came with the only purpose of living through raw and real life experiences, following my heart till wherever it took me. I have cherished this phase the most. I lived, loved, cried, lost, dreamt, wrote. I am lucky that I lived through this phase too. Good, bitter, bad, the memories will remain. Without that my words were turning out too bland for my own taste. The next time I choose to write, there is bound to be more depth, truth and hopefully more happiness. I know.
The last I blogged here on PFC was when I knew I had to be back home.
What I didn’t know was I would be compelled to be there till I grew to be a new person.
I didn’t know when I got inflicted with a minor illness it would get prolonged for months together and neither did I know that when family would surround me to help me recuperate they would in turn acquaint me with standard Hindu practices which we usually didn’t follow ‘religiously’ at home, havans, prayers and the like. When informed relatives explained that my astrological chart had a very peculiar and severely unfavorable placement of planets all of this year, I was only too depleted of energy to react but lived through it, bemused.
How I love the tough times. They make me closer to who I am. But, thank you very much, I have had enough for now : ) I now hope for a glorious act 3 of my Mumbai story.
Now I have new dreams and renewed energy, after many years (around 8,) I feel like participating in the world around once again to be with people and communicate in person and not locked up in a room for now. I only dream of an achievement that brings tears to my eyes and a smile for the audience. After that, I don’t know.
The stakes are higher, the challenges more severe, but I have faith in myself and God.
I don’t see anything unusual in my journey so far but I choose to write about this here to maintain continuity in what I started on PFC and hope to be in touch from time to time.
