Update 3:
The team needed a character from South India who carries a laptop bag on his shoulder. So Manjeet called Kartik along with Sumit (an upcoming PFC Author who will exclusively be writing on Theater)…
Scene : Airport
The camera starts with focusing on the 3 PFC authors… as it moves on to catch John Abraham passing by them, towards the airport… that’s when Kartik says “I write for passionforcinema.com”… I guess they have little bit more screen time than Branson in Casino Royale…
The shoot’s just ended and the team has wrapped up. Kartik’s on his way home… and will be posting in detail about his experiences on the set. They have been called again tomorrow for the shoot.

Just wanted to note this: This is the first live reporting, in real time from the sets of any film shoot via bloggers… not sure if anyone has done this before in India or any other country.

New text message from Kartik : “Me and Manjit are in the film talking about PFC. My line in the scene is ‘I write for PFC’ in the film” -
Nothing clear yet from the above. Perhaps this is for the “Behind the Scenes” portions for the DVD…
His phone’s switched off still…
Wanna pass on the warning that if that scene is “really” in the film, both of them better not fuck it up, else I’ll be ripping them apart on Desi Train… in my review…

Manjeet and Kartik are on the No Smoking Sets… For some odd reason Anurag has put Kartik in front on the camera where he has to say to someone… “I’m an author from PassionForCinema”… WHAT THE….??????? Just received text messages from Kartik, who I believe is busy memorizing that dialogue above… Will be calling Kartik as soon as he switches his cell phone ON, so we can get exact details…

Kartik took a shower after 5 days ..wore formals and put nice cologne( yes we gonna smell him too..lol!!!).

The other day, when I was on sets Anurag told me that they would be using me in one of the scenes at the airport. He told me to wear the same ‘kurta’ I was wearing that day for the shot. I heard Anurag and Gautam(AD and casting director) saying they needed somebody, who looked like a rock artist. I thought of my friend, who had a rock band and use to perform at various college festivals. I told them about him and he(Shrinivas)was shortlisted for the shot. Then I thought may be Karthik could also look like a south Indian software engineer carrying a laptop, who travels frequently. I called Gautam and asked him how the idea sounded. Gautam gave the go ahead. Karthik was called along with Sumeet at the airport. Sumeet knew Anurag before hand.
The shot has Shrinivas, Karthik, sumeet and myself in the frame. I have emailed Karthik the pics he would be posting them along with the article soon!
guys the shot won’t be cut..and let me tell you how kartik fucked up the first take..beginning from ” i write for PFC” he went on to say on PFC we discuss actors like john abraham..he fucking started talking about the very actor who was playing the character..now how unreal is that..but it was fun..
