The first few pictures are of the 2nd Unit crew, which was headed by Raj Kumar(blue t-Shirt), with Kalpesh (AC holding the camera), Gautam (AD) and few other people.
Anurag has a habit of playing video game on a small digital hand held gadget with a match stick:)
The title ‘Director zameen pe aur actor aasman pe’ was given by Anurag for the pic where he is kind of on his knees with John standing in the background.

hey how did the shoot go today…were the able to shoot the scene Anuraag was talking about (where Jhons beard starts growing…as he reads the book).
Rk: I can not figure out how to put the pictures. I hope OZ will make the corrections once he is online.
The green screen shot is the one about the time lapse. It will need computer graphics.
I did not go on the sets as I had to post these articles. Will go tomorrow.

What is a phoenix crane used for? Does it assist in any particular angles or movement of the camera?
A phoenix crane is a mid-size crane so to speak. It’s very flexible in terms of usage. It’s lightweight, so its easy to move around and has several different length settings, easy to put together, to take apart. It pivots smoothly, and you can change elevation simultaneously without jerking the camera. You don’t need too many people to operate the crane. They’re used extensively in covering sports, particularly racing, soccer and football.
