Bad taste!
Agreed… slightly bad taste!
Wow…
Couldn’t have been as bad as the taste the film left in my mouth after 20 minutes.
The gay jokes are as banal and formulaic as the film’s plot. That’s the entire point.
I hope at least some of you have heard of Blazing Saddles…
Good movie by Mel Brookes. 1st black man as Sheriff.
Blazing Saddles was one of the funniest and tastless movies ever.
But, not only are gay jokes (or metro jokes for that matter) or “jokes” poking fun at a woman’s sexuality not funny or appropriate for a cinema site, this one barely approaches banal or formulaic.
Aren’t Village People jokes so 20th century? And, aren’t we beyond assuming that all women in the industry slept their way to the top and/or are sluts?
Bad taste is wonderful when it is funny. I, for one, worship at the altar of John Waters. But, this image is just bad.
