Starring Abhay Deol, Paresh Rawal in a triple role amongst others in a splendid ensemble cast, the film is directed by the critically acclaimed director of “Khosla ka Ghosla” Dibakar Banerjee.
Inspired by the incredible true story of Lucky Singh, an extremely charismatic and fearless confidence man and thief who socialized with the rich, famous and influential of Delhi society and then proceeded to rob them blind. He was the bane of the police and had stolen millions by the time he was caught. A modern day Robin Hood with a twist, he robbed both the rich and the poor without prejudice. Nothing was too big nor was anything too insignificant to escape his attention. The film opens with his trial and charts his rise from the projects of crime ridden suburban Delhi to the very heart of the corridors of power. Along the way he makes lifelong friends, falls in love and manages to outwit the entire law and order machinery.
“Oye Lucky. Lucky Oye” is a parable of an India in flux on the cusp of it’s economic revolution when traditional values battled with nouveau riche desires.
Please visit the film’s website to learn more about the film.

Hi..
I had sent the rsvp request yesterday evening..yet to receive any confirmation?..just wanted to confirm..did any of you got the confirmation mail?

Sanghamitra
@ sanghamitra –
it seems to take a day or so, but u’ll get it
@ dabba..
thanks..
Still awaiting my confirmation… looking forward to the movie. Any PFC guys up for a drink after the movie?
We would like to thank everybody for their interest in the film. We will be sending out confirmations by tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you at the screening.
i’m up for a drink after the film. we can turn it into a PFC Meetup, and discuss the movie. or get drunk and have fun. or both.
dabba, sounds like a plan.
Yaar LA mein bhi rakhwa do screening!
Anybody got any confirmations for the RSVP today?
I still havent received yet.
I haven’t either…
Confirmations have been sent out to everyone who sent us an RSVP. In case you haven’t got it yet, please let us know and we will take care of it.
Got the confirmation in the email today, should be fun.
yep..got the confirmation
I got it too….Thanks UTV
See you all there…
I got it. I have a question . does the receipt of confirmation means that we are guaranteed a seat or is it that if the venue is full then its possible we may not get entry? Because the email says to come 45 minutes early . My friends are coming with me. Although i can come early my friends are working and will be just in time for the show.
Nitesh the screening is first come first seated. It wouldn’t be fair to the other patrons to block seats if they had come come before your friends.
I learnt late abt the screening which is why ive jus mailed UTV today ie. nov 23rd for RSVP of 2.. I am a film school student from india, studying film acting at NYFA..
I would appreciate if i cud be accomodated in the RSVP list..
waiting for ur reply
I RSVP-ed last evening by filling out the form on the top and have not received a confirmation as yet. Should I read that as, no more spots available? I am a NYU PhD student in the Dept. of Cinema Studies and am real keen to attend the screening with another guest: any possibilities?
loved the movie..
Awesome…..great movie…well directed…Dibakar Banerjee rocks….
Arijit, Sanghamitra… More details please!!! How did it go???? Comeon!!!
Loved this one. Bloody good.
Oye Dibakar, Dibakar Oye. Toosi chha gayen.
Started 15 minutes late – but it was worth it.
I had a hearty laugh. So did the others.
Abhay is not Abhay, but Lucky Singh. Neetu is wonderful and good-looking, I may add.
Paresh Rawal is the BAAP of all actors.
But all of the above is expected.
There are a lot of other actors, whose names I dont know. Perfectly cast. Could not find a wrong note anywhere.
Pacing is well-done. (Great editing, I guess).
And the story and direction are wonderful. Couple of loopholes, but then thats just nitpicking.
However, the star of the show, without any arguments, is the music director of the movie. You, madam Khanwilkar deserve a mighty applause.
Must-watch
Navdeep put it across very well, actually – “And the sheer coolness of it all ”
This is what Bunty Aur Babli should have been, but never did.
oh yes. The title sequence. Innovative.
Thanks PFC ..got to see the movie 4 days before the actual release.. I had reached there before 6 just to make sure..I had been to slumdog screening early november…so I was expecting long queue yesterday…
at the end of the movie.I thought everything was perfect…casting is really great..the young lucky, his ‘Aunty’. even his kid young brother..the girl at the store…his ‘could be ‘ mother-in-law who kept on reminding him to get a new toaster…I mean..yes..that’s how ppl are..I loved every small detail about each character…nobody else I guess could have been ‘Lucky’..
It had to be Abhay..
Dibarkar really rocks..please do watch this movie
with Paresh Rawal, Neetu Chandra I think this movie will definitely be comedy. Story line seems to be good. I will watch it.
