He’s almost invisible. The duo behind it is untraceable. Shimit Amin and Jaideep Sahni where the hell are you guys? Rocket Singh releases this Friday and the “mahoul” (Hinglish: atmosphere) is almost quiet. I don’t see anything about Singh saab online (except the song promo)… I’m bloody excited about the movie but can’t get no appetizers!
Singh-saab if we don’t meet in a day or two, online or in any of the promo channels, then I’ll see you on Friday… Oye! Chak de kachche!!! errr… phatte!!!!

heard that the ’son of a kapoor’ took all money, so chopra clan want value for money. this one will be totally riding on ranbir. the heroine is a newbie hottie: Shazahn Padamsee. i think am in love wid her already.
but yea, i do see interviews of ran.kap, jai.sah & shi.ami on tv, every now and then. plus there is this huge rumor or wudeva abt the ranbir-deepika split. so the ball’s rollin for the chopras. am sure they will also make up for the losses incurred by uday chopra – jugal hansraj flick – Pyaar Impossible. isi baat pe ho gaya kalyan

Well YRF isnt known to do OTT publicity.Sample this-last year same time- Ghajini was all over us while RNBDJ was much more subtle in the promotions.
So I guess there is the curiosity factor of Ranbir playing a Sardar, the team of Shimit Amin- Jaideep Sahni is back & whatever little one has seen of the movie so far sounds cool.Plus Ranbir is on a roll with back to back hits- Wake Up Sid & Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani- so all the more curiosity levels are raised.
And the best thing is on the distribution front- its a solo release this friday ( 11th Dec ) and so people just have to check it out
I just hope that the movie turns to be as good as its projected.

I think this has been the trend with YRF since Tashan…the two prior releases to that Laaga Chunari…and Aaja Nachle were promoted heavily but bit the dust…and since then they have gone very low key on their promotion

I dont know if YRF films are lowly promoted… I’d say they still are one of the heavy promoters… guess they like to go a “running successfully all over” promotions more than the pre release…. very movie of theirs comes up with this tagline post movie release…

True.. the songs are nice and going by their number am sure the movie would also be shorter than usual yashraj films ..luking fwd to this one ..even Chak De’s publicity was very much low key ..in fact I clearly remember SRK saying in an interview during OSO promotion that if it had been his film he would have promoted it much more than what Aditya did ..

Anyways the promos abdnpostets are around and all my college friends gave Only three words on their lips. I.e ” pocket main rocket” but they aren’t aggresively pushing it .
Remember fit chak de they didn’t like the trailer and wanted to take it t off due to poor audience reactions it seems that adi wasn’t very happy about the trailers of rocket and wanted it to be re shot
similar to chak de the trailers are quite ok nothing great but everybodies looking forward to the film
