But I still don’t get what is P?
Greaaat Greeaaat….Eagerly looking forward for all the movies..fingers crossed
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
What the hell is “P”?
@Satyavrat….What is P? Lemme me know wen u know
@ OM,
From PFC Buzz video, it seems that ‘P’ is yet another movie making contest, but details are not yet announced.
“P” is Oz and PFC’s attempt to put their money where their mouth, and fingertips are. Through several rants, the question that kept coming up was what was PFC doing other than ranting to promote cinema and give newbies a shot. PFCOne was the first such. And “P” is…Wait for it -
P for Pitch. It’s where you pitch your feature idea in a self shot video and include the name of your film, a brief logline and genre. You will have less than 3 minutes to make your pitch and you will be evaluated by a panel of esteemed filmmakers on PFC, and the winner will be given a first look wiritng/production deal.
@OM, Me thinks (infact 100% sure) “P” stands for Producer… now I don’t know will it be “Executive Producer” or “Assistant Producer” or an “Internship at a Production House”… but Producer it is… and the festival/competition will be to sniff out good stories and if you win maybe a cash prize or an internship or something. Pitch is so alien in Bollywood.
OMG, have to sleep now, will catch up with the ‘P’ buzz after a few hours ;))
Don G, I think you got it wrong. Me thinks P is for “player”, i.e. you play your role (writer, producer, actor, whatever) in the best way possible. PFC will judge these entries based on your ability to do it well.
5 advertise pitches out so far(or so much I have seen)
Oz, you don’t want me people to sleep or what :d
Don.G me thinks P is for Ponds…James Ponds…all the pitchers are looking like James ponds….or a channel to become Phamous from being a Phakeer….or to make all producers Pareshan with their phantastic ideas….phingers crossed
P can be many things…It can be something that everyone wants desperately…You dirty minds, I meant popularity! :D
Such a lazy bum I am, I never managed to put the frestival banner on my blog. Ozbhai, Sorry!
And waiting for Dec to start.
OK, I am awake after sleeping for 2.5 hrs, and the first thing I am doing is checking this page. Details dene ki ho rahi hai Oz Bhai :)
@OZ…will the short films be available on PFC for viewing it later?? For eg. the shorts to be showcased on Day 1..would that go off on PFC on Day 2?What if I miss them on that day?Damn
p for pandy …
Sourav..dont worry..the shorts will be available for later viewing as well
OM thanks mate!!

hi ,
will there be a section for the films discussion?
are the judges, I mean, Anurag Kashyap, Sudhir Mishra etc.etc seeing these movies…..will they see all of them….or you will first filter them and give them a few to watch and judge…??
- Sanjay, the selection committee at PFC has shortlisted movies list that the jury has been sent. Initially we had planned to only show these shortlisted movies in the festival, but decided to show all movies.
- Angad, the comments section is where you are free and open to discuss any movies you would like to. I’m hoping the respective filmmakers in this festival will come forward and participate in these discussions.
can we know that which films have been shortlisted to show to judges?
- Adesh, perhaps we’ll accommodate this request for next year. Your questions, comments are a learning process for us too.
