PFCOne Film Festival: List of Entries
Update November, 18/2007
The window to accept submissions for the festival is now closed. The Festival itinerary will be put up by the end of the week.

This post contains the list of incoming submissions received so far. The list will be updated with new entries regularly until November 15th which is when we close the submissions.
Good News! PFC on it’s first festival will show “all” entries that are submitted and fall under the requirements and guidelines listed. So there will be no filter this year, to choose and select films for the festival from the entire pool of submissions.
The following is a list of entries that have been received so far. If you have sent in your entry and do not see it in this list, please resend your movie, as we have not received it. This list will be updated every few days. Please remember the closing date for submissions is November 15th November 18th, Sunday until 10pm (Pacific Time, which equates to 11:30am Nov. 19th, Monday in India)

Films when converted to flv format gets pixelated while in mpeg2_DVD format they are quite good. Would this loss in resolution affect the prospects of the film?

hi…i collect film reviews and save articles on films that win awards, and ive seen the film “MUDCAKE” already. It went up for some festival and won aswell, and is also on youtube. Isnt that against the rules!??

i have been readin posts on pfc for the last couple of months but call this my ignorance or foolishness, i never noticed the one minute movie festival post….
it is only 2 days back that i read it…
ok, fine, i scripted 2 of them,shot 1 with 2 of my friends, and i was hoping 2 edit and send these in a day or 2…
but coz.. i m studyin in an iit, these may never be posted… my frenz r not very interested,busy wid tests..the guy with the camera is not available….
it was such a gr8 oppurtunity fr me 2 do sumthing gud, but it went in vain..
guess i’ll have 2 become another nerdy engineer workin in a MNC…or maybe an MBA will help….

I AGREE that in hurry i havent read the rule of availabilty on youtube etc. as disqualifying..!
However one on Youtube is a 2 min version with pointing on health issues and the version i submitted for PFC was one min version pointing on corruption issue.However i totally abide by the rules of this fest!

Very very touched to see such a huge enthusiastic response. Overwhelmed in fact by the fire, hunger and passion to make a creative one minute by the participants. Some of the one minute movies have simply blown me away.
- Ram, 15th night Pacific Standard Time. Which is about 13 and half hours behind Indian Standard Time. But with the last minute high rush of submissions, I’m upto my neck with videos. I may just decide to push the last date to 20th.

Firstly, I’ve edited my movies wit Windows movie maker and it cann’t be converted into .flv using Riva encoder. Plz. suggest other softwares.

Hi OZ… My one entry “Tu Chal Main aaya” was a sequence in one of my film “Yeh Becharey” running on Mirch Masala channel of http://www.nautanki.tv
Though it is not a part of the final cut but since older version runs on nautanki that includes this sequence in the part 3 of the film, I would request you to remove it from the contest. I am sorry for the inconvenience but I only checked the nautanki version today and came to know of it. All my other films are OK and have been specifically made for PFCOne.

I think Sanjay is right…..technical aspects should also be taken into account….and they even contribute in making good cinema and both the things (technique and story) make a good film…..
