Pronounced as Trend dot Seven or Trend d 7. This is PFC’s trend analysis of movies that readers are watching in the last seven days. Based on the reader’s interaction of providing ratings in Guerrilla Reviews, we collect this data to rank movies. The movies are ranked by bayesian mean ratings. The bayesian mean is set at 60% across the whole report. A movie needs to have atleast 3 votes to make it on the Trend.7 list. Because of the manner in which ratings are calculated, a movie with less ratings may at times be ranked higher than a movie with higher ratings, this is essentially what we are attempting to capture – an instant snapshot of the trends.

Trend.7 is a work in progress. The objective is to give filmmakers, production houses and many professionals in the entertainment business, a bird’s eye view of the shift from movie to movie of an entire community mass, every day.
