i am a sucker for indian-rock music, and i have never come across them. also i did not know paanch was loosely based on them. well, you learn something new everyday.
i always have wondered why do majority of indian rock band artists have an engineering background. :-?

Thank’s for that link, I am such a big music fan and I am excited to find that there is so much music in India that I hadn’t been exposed to.
But, after glancing at the rsj page and looking at the musicyogi page, I am wondering how there is so much Speed Metal in India. Are they bigger than most rock bands, or just better organized?
i think, there is more music in India then we have been exposed to. it’s such a shame cos we have so many talented artists and they all are going waste.
Remix and Hindi Film music is only two main kind of genres that gets all the publicity. where as ghazals, folk music, hindi-rock, indie rock, fusion, etc don’t even get played on radio or music channels.

Sorry man, i have not got a clue about that. i would have loved to studied engineering in one of the indian college/university, so in that way i would have come across this kind of music more often.
