Quick Gun Murugan… quick notes
Was sleepy eyed a day ago when I read Anurag’s post on his list of forthcoming movies to watch out for… by the way, I believe Anurag, you should make this a regular feature.
Quick Gun Murugan was in the list… had heard fleetingly once or twice about it. Remembered the “I am laikeee that only” or some quote we used to see on cable more than ten years ago.
Then Vasan messages us this morning. Bloody hell… he just got to see the trailer of the Quick Gun Murugan… since then I’ve been trying to beg, borrow, plead to let us at PFC have a peek… no success so far…
Here’s Vasan’s message

saw the trailer…..some 2 mins long.it’s awesome….has got TAMIL DIALOGUES WITH ENGLISH SUB-TITLES……for those who know tamil….it’s sex on the beach…..for those who don’t know tamil it’s fuck-on-the-beach….same difference…..donno what the hell i am writing….this is one hellava film…..MIND IT….

Immediately messages start shooting off… then Varun and Om inform me that Rajendra Prasad, one of the best comic actors from the Telugu Industry, is playing the title role. Om mentions that Prasad is the master of comic timing and highly recommends watching his movies made in 90s like April Okkati Vidudala, Appula Apparao…
I can’t take this anymore… add fuel to the fire…
Shashank Ghosh (the director of QGM) emails in… he’s still thinking… whether he should take the plunge and open his diary on PFC… not there yet… damn damn damn…
I’m beating my head on the Mac trying to find the best ways to get him on PFC… cause my next question to him is gonna be… how soon can we at PFC get a glimpse of QGM…
No response… damn this is killing…
I guess if we can get like 15 to 30 comments urging Shashank to come and open his diary on PFC along with a quick trailer of Quick Gun Murugan… it may just do the trick (I’ve been told he works best under pressure)… help me out here dear readers… Shashank, if you are reading this, count this post as request number one… what to do Saar… Iaee yam like that yonly… Mind it!!! ;)

If not for anything, atleast for the sake of Ilaiyaraaja, SPB and Rajendra prasad, Shahshanka has to blog somewhere somehow. I loved Rajendraprasad’s work in Mr.Pellam a lot.

My Fav scene of WBHH-2 – Vishnu and Puneet are going to that pub and Vishnu tells Puneet about his fav Mithun film…..
“Mithun appna haat kat ta hai…aur faat se desson leta hai….cut…”

There are plenty of good scenes..
1) The first scene – What if your ma ran away..
2) The Terrace scene where Puneet intervenes in Vishnu’s business for first time and after that they are snooping….
3) Gangu Tai – all of her scenes.
I even have started liking the Bhatinda group.. hated it first time around but more i watch the film…
And finally..the scene – Puneet’s first scene with his assistant – that keeps you thinking… is Puneet having an affair with his assistant or not?
The Laundiya song is hilarious! That song should be played when driving and passing by a hot girl.
Shashank please start bloging, as you can see there are so many people eagerly waiting to know more about QGM. Rajendra prasad is a classic man needs no introducktion for gulti(telugu) people. Hoping some great fire works by “Quick Gunnn Murgannnnn”
