Dev Benegal’s Road, Movie is in the Competition Section of the 22nd Tokyo International Film Festival that starts on 17th October.
Zoya Akhtar’s Luck By Chance has been nominated for Best Asian-Middle Eastern Film Award at the festival’s Winds of Asia – Middle East section, where one of its competitors will be Abbas Kiarostami’s Shirin.

@Bobby: The category is Asia-Middle East, i.e. Asia and Middle East. I think the reason behind putting Middle East (instead of only Asia) is Egyptian films can be entered in the same category.
any idea whn it is releasing in india? there’s a very strong buzz of the film inthe international circuit already. its apparantly one of the best films of the decade…! hope it works bigtime! Amen!
