seriously. all movies abhay has starred in , have been really good. he does have a knack of choosing, great stories & screenplays. more power to him. I loved english august and Split Wide open and I really hope this combination of Dev benegal and Abhay rocks with this movie too…

Looking through the trailer. it seems a dynamic “Cinema Paradiso”. It gives feel of vibrant India in opposite to the static Itlian town of Giuseppe Tornatore. Still no-one believe in blind prediction here naa !

i m sorry abhay is anything but overrated
he iis still not ggetting rcognition in bollywood which he desrves. Also, IMO acting wise he is miles ahead than hrithik, abhihske, shahid etc.
I concur with you Movie Fan. The good thing about Abhay is you never take home Abhay the actor, but the character he is playing. That is his asset. I am just hoping there will be a day when his movies open with 100% collections without the publicity hype. I just hope

i love most of his movies and he is pretty decent or good even…..but for me his performance in dev d was just limited to him looking wasted…none of his emotional scenes worked for me, also his voice often comes in the way of his performance…
one thing for sure is that he does try to give a good performance…he takes his acting seriously but that doesnt automatically make him a good performer
dont get me wrong im an abhay deol fan…but when i say over rated i dont mean to suggest that he does not deserve the recognition hes getting i just think thats hes not as “brilliant” an actor as people think he is
but then again those are my two cents…
