ShahRukh Khan As Mogambo In Mr.India 2?
Based on web rumors (I am fed up of reading all football rumors! So decided to read filmi rumors), apparently, ShahRukh Khan will be playing Mogambo in Mr. India 2? Really? I cannot see that happening. ShahRukh Khan doesn’t have a personality of Mogambo. Yes, ShahRukh Khan has done a couple of villain roles in his career, but Mogambo role is out of his depth. There is only person in Bollywood who would be good for Mogambo role and he is Boman Irani. Would that still be good as the great Amrish Puri? I doubt it. So why cannot they just scrap the idea of making Mr. India 2?

well making a remake of a film as huge in its stature as Mr.India or suchlike is a scary thing itself..& yes there must b actors who’d b better SRK in the role but still seeing SRK do Mogambo will b interesting..though i hope this is actually a rumour!!
I think Anil Kapoorv will make a great Mogambo… that strikes a story… doesn’t it??
I read the shocker too! Really, SRK in such a larger-than-life character! Naah, doesn’t work for me. Boman, I have my doubts with him too. If I had to pick a choice, I would probably go with Naseer – After all, for a role like that, the eyes need to talk boy, the eyes need to talk!
Yes, funnyily I too was thinking of Anil Kapoor as Mogambo..Guess am not the only one out there!
Who us directing it? Shekhar kapur or Nikhil advani?
How about Big B as Big M. He is the only one who has a deep baritone and a fantastic personality for such roles.

That reminds me, if somebody can do a post on changing faces of villains. There are no Mogambo, Dr Deng or Gabbar anymore. The villains are more real now.

I think this whole news is, at best, a rumour. Something like Dhoom 3 rumours.

I think he would make a good Mogambo.
I don’t think this is a remake. I think its actually a sequel being launched as Sridevi’s comeback vehicle. Shah Rukh Khan cannot be Mogambo as this character died at the end of Mr. India anyway.
He may well just be the villan in the sequel.
Can’t wait for Sridevi to return though!!!!!
i dont think that will not be good boys n girls Amrish puri (god bless his soul). SRK iz great but look at his age n look at mugambo. they can make it SRK iz da JR of Mugambo then it will b better not that what u think guys. Mugambo iz history but his Jr in town 2 take revange what tht sound guys…
wat abt our own bad man GULSHAN GROVER as MOGAMBO??…
