Slumdog Millionaire Poster released

Here’s the official poster release of Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire. The latest on it is that it has received an “R” rating in the US because of a scene depicting torture at the police station in India. (and it is supposed to churn your stomach). Though many net bloggers believe an “R” rating was too harsh as the scene does not even depict blood… nevertheless the movie is just a few weeks away from its release.

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE opens on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Toronto and will open in additional cities throughout November and December. Directed by: Danny Boyle; Co Director (India): Loveleen Tandan; Screenplay by: Simon Beaufoy; Cast: Dev Patel, Freida Pinto, Madhur Mittal, Anil Kapoor, Irrfan Khan; Music: AR Rehman.
