Soundtrack Review: ‘Avakai Biryani’
The much awaited music of Avakai Biryani is out. I did not waste any time to grab my copy .The music for Avakai Biryani is composed by ‘Manikanth Kadri’ and Vanamaali is the lyricist. Manikanth Kadri is son of Sri. Kadri Gopalnath, who is well known South Indian Musician.
The album has 6 songs and all of them are different from each other.
Nannnu Choopagala Addam: The album starts with the song ‘Nannnu Choopagala Addam’ starts with low drum beats and then infused with Veena after that the song gets digitalized. Karthik is the singer and the way he changes his pitch in the song is very good before the female singer Swetha is introduced the song tunes into a slower pace. The song has a classical tone with some touch of other elements.
4/5
Veerudena: This is my favorite song and this is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Karthik. Shreya Goshal is the perfect singer for such a song. The tune of the song is amazing with some good lyrics to it. After hearing the song I have been humming the tune of it all the day.
4/5
Nadiche Yedu Adugullo: ‘Nadiche Yedu Adugullo’ is the third song of the album. Naresh Iyer and Chitra are the singers. In the whole album this song has the best lyrics. Chitra dominates over Naresh Iyer for obvious reasons. This is the smallest track with less than 3 minutes.
4/5
Chindesi Chinna Pedda: ‘Chindesi Chinna Pedda’ sounds like a mass song. Ranjith,Rahul Nambiar and Tippu are the singers and the lyrics is OK .
3/5
Maamidi Kommaki: Manikanth Kadri and Saindhavi are the singers for this song. This track has a folk touch to it with decent lyrics attached to it and looks like a situational song.
3/5
Adigadigo: ‘Adigadigo’ is the last song of the album. Karthik is the only singer and the song sounds good after repeated hearings.
3.5/5
On the whole the music of ‘Avakai Biryani’ is good and you won’t regret for buying the CD. Manikanth Kadri has done a good job and Vanamaali has provided good lyrics and all the singers were very good.Very much excited about the movie.

Excellent album! Hope to see more of Manikanth.
‘Nannu Chupagala Adham’, ‘Veerudena’ and ‘Adigadigo’ are the best of the lot. Tough to choose one between them!
