Stoneman: Bombay’s Serial Killer
Anand had written a post about serial killer movies in India, and we could not find one genuine movie, but now we do have an upcoming movie – ‘Stoneman’ – which will truly classify as an Indian serial killer movie. And the film is directed by Manish Gupta, who has worked on Sarkar, D and other films from RGV factory. Check out the trailer of the movie:
Stoneman is based on a true story – it looks at the Bombay’s serial killer of the 80s – who killed people using stones.
But will the film be based entirely on the facts – the ending could be a fiction – since the culprit ain’t be caught:
“This man hasn’t been arrested or identified till date. He remains uncaptured despite desperate efforts till today,” says Manish Gupta.
I, for one, is looking forward to this film because it is directed and written by Manisha Gupta – he wrote dialogues for ‘D’ (it is a brilliant film) and the film looks interesting..

Trailer looks interesting …..Vikram Gokhale ..after a long time ….
Looks good. I just hope some stupid organisation doesn’t start suing because the rights of serial killers may be violated.
D was indeed brilliant… After satya company u may find it repetitive but randeep hooda and the sharp dialogues did it for me…. But the directo Vishram sawant dissapointed with his 2nd venture RISK…..
reminds me of most underrated hollywood movie last year.. Zodiac… anyone has seen it?? i been asking/unofficially promoting this one since a month now!!
is D the one which has Chunkey Pandey and Randeep Hooda
yep, Randeep Hooda played the character ‘D’ and Chunkey Pandey was his right hand..
