The Sunday 100 this week focuses on

CRUSH

In 100 words exactly…

it was bouncing in my hands
well, i was the one bouncing it
    up and down
    careful
    so it doesn’t fall
and i kept walking, with it, anticipating the reaction
    my action would cause
i wanted to see how it would open up
    will the seeds fly out
i wanted to see how it would splatter
how the fleshy insides open up
because i was in the county named after it
and i was walking to the only head i wanted to see it on and
    i saw him
    so i took the orange
    and
    went
    CRUSH
    on OZ’s head

Anupama loved bungee jumping. The slight flutter in her stomach before each jump always gave way to an unbelievable high as she stepped off the ledge. This time was no different. She closed her eyes and with a smile, jumped off the edge. Experts will tell you that it is hardly seventy seconds of free fall before the jerk of the chord pulls you up. But this time, time seemed to stretch as she kept falling and falling and finally hit the ground, her skull crushed into a million pieces, but her soul no longer so. It was mission accomplished.

    Last day of college.

You, me, silence… the usual threesome.

Words unsaid, plans unmade, setting sun casting long shadows… the usual setup.

    Your moist eyes

It was a grand wedding hall and a betrothal ceremony was in progress.
My class 12 chemistry teacher was getting engaged to a Software engineer from Silicon valley. I was the only student from my class invited.

I gave the poisoned orange crush to Mr.Software. She shouldn
