Yes Boss! But is that it?
Yesterday was my lucky day. Bengaluru mein sunday ko movie tickets milna mushkil hi nahi, namumkin hai. But namumkin ko mumkin banane waale ko hi to FILMI kehte hain! Owing to some divine intervention from Lord CinemaIndra, I saw 2 movies at the cineMandir. First I saw Yes Man the Jim Carrey flick and followed it up wid RNBDJ. This post is about what I felt / thought after watching both these movies.
Yes Boss! But is that it? I have seen much better from these guys - Jim Carrey & SRK. Before I take this further, one thing that got me pissed was the ‘kreative liberty’ exploited in both the films. It’s ok to an extent, but itna bhi nahi hazam hota yaar. Yes Man was almost bordering on Bollywood. Add an hour of naach-gaana & melodrama, shiffon saree-swiss alps and BINGO, it’s a hardkore Hindi film. …
