AB: After writing 40 pages of a script you decided that you would direct it yourself. To direct a film is first step. What happened next? You accepted yourself as a director but to make a film you need money which would come from other sources and to give you money people need to have a faith in you.

Na Na To Bollywood Nanos

Tata gave us a common man’s dream car Nano..Bollywood too, of late, has been producing its own Nanos ( movies with the budget between 2-3 crores)..Not only the Nanos but Nannies ( movies with the budget between 4-6 crores) and Nanas ( movies with the budget of ten crores plus) also ..(These categories are home-grown and product of this finicky mind of mine).. The word “Sound” holds a different meaning for me post interviewing K J Singh.
A little introduction is necessary because this man has been associated with all the possible positions that encompasses music and sound in India. He has worked on Films Background Score & soundtracks like Satya, Maqbool, Rage De Basanti, Omkara, Black Friday and many more. Also he has produced the greatest Indian band ‘Indian Ocean’ and Rabbi’s Shergill debut album ‘Rabbi’.
