The British Museum is hosting its “Indian Summer events programme”. As part of this event they are screening 7 special films from India that capture the range of Indian landscapes, regions and languages. Films like Mughal-e-Azaam, Pakeezah and Mother India are going to be screened along with Shivajee Chandrabhushan’s Frozen. This is great news for Indian Independent films. Congratulations Shivajee! @Neeraj
@Magik
Thank you.
I am truly honoured to be given the same platform as those great film makers. Actually am still under a shock :-). Got this news few days back.
Now this news no one knows here in India. And no one is bothered that one independent film…no Reliance, no UTV, no studio 18, no moser bayer and blah blah… it is just the power of good cinema.
Regarding the release in Bangalore, till now the news is yes it will get a release on 11th September along with Kolkata. Now the whole issue is one print is stuck with the DIFF Delhi because of the on going process of National Awards for Films. So lets see what happens. But Magik I would surely let you guys know.
Congrats Shivajee.
