Check out the pics. The tired look is done on purpose. It’s the way Ram Gopal Varma has envisioned “his” Gabbar Singh

awesome. just awesome, especially the second picture. The Look Of Indian Cinema’s Biggest Villain could not be any better than that.
I kind of have mixed feelings. On one hand the first pic does give an “evil” look but the “tired” angle is a bit hard to digest for me.
I was about to have Sumeet take a look at the new Gabbar pics, but he’s snoring on the sofa in my living room, after a few us met and went out for some heavy duty drinking last night.
i kind of disagree with, erm, the description of second picture. I think, in that photo Gabbar Singh’s look is more of laid back but yet you can see the ruthlessness in his body posture.
lol, just start doing vacuuming – that should wake him up.
ps i was doing a bit of gooling yesterday and could not find any of these photos. nice job.
love the look! he looks like a pirate
Honhaar the picture can also be found here http://www.indiafm.com/features/2006/10/08/1678/index.html
The first picture reminds me of AB Sr. in Deewar(new one), the bandanna and the look in his eyes, while the second pic of tired AB is too tiring.. putiing me back to sleep…. snore snore.. The energy is missing in Gabbar. So, do we have an Assistant of Gabbar who goes around doing his stuff for Gabbr while Gabbar is tired all thru the movie? My first impression…
- Sumeet, just read your email… looking closely at the first pic… yeah… his eyes have two differently colors… blue and green
Abey sumeeet …. jiyo ….
Shit didnt notice that !!!!!!
yeah green and blue
you’ve got some sharp eyes, boy! you know sumeet you could be right. rgv did say that Sambha will have a lot to do in this version. so we might see a bit of similarity between Gabbar – Sambha, and Malik Bhai – Chandu(?)
however, i still would prefer to use term ‘laid back’ rather than ‘tired’
I’m liking the pics….he looks better than I had expected.
The second is deffo more Gabbar-like!!
may be his left eye is ‘patthar ki aankh’ in the film …
For more dramatic effect !!!
No intention of hurting anybody’s feeling but the first picture looks like Sai Baba.
Apun soch raha hai ki agar sar par safed kapda bandega toh ho sakta hai.
Jackie Shroff has competition!
Punds
I agree with punds, first impression I got looking at first picture was, Shirdi Sai Baba
@HG Gabbar Sambha, Mallik- Chandu..wow interesting thought..
Hey i remember RGV say that Gabbar has Tired look coz of all the running. So, tired yeah!!! Laid back.. Gabbar was always laid back
more info on why the eyes have a different color to them.. found this on rediff..
”
Speaking about his look, Bachchan says, “I got an eye infection after the shooting. If you notice carefully, you will find one eye is brown and the other is blue. They used two different-coloured lenses.”
