5. SURPRISE SURPRISE. EACH OF THE WINNER GETS A CASH PRIZE OF Rs 25,000 each..
The prize will be handed over to you by John Abraham (by jove!!!) at a Sports bar in Bombay, the details of which Anurag will deliver shortly. These details will be emailed to you.

Congratulations to the winners, honorable mentions and all the participants! It was unbelievable to see all the talent in the community.
And kudos to the filmmakers/producers for stepping up with a surprise prize for the winners!
There were five people voting.. me, kumar mangat, vishal bharadwaj, john abraham, rahul nanda
manav got 3,2,1 votes for his three
the other two winners and aaina got 2 votes each
and one each for the last three..
since we had to choose only three in total.. so keeping manav aside we chose two out of zaheer, aaina and elvis..
each person had to just pick three of their favourites after ruling out ones that didn’t go with the film..
Bad luck for David who really propped up the competition, but it just did’t go with the film..
the fact that no one really knew what the film was about, proves this really doesn’t reflect on those who did not make it..

btw it was accepted by all that OZ’s entry was the worst .. ha ha
Sorry for the off-topic post oz…but I read about Sonali and was deeply moved. Just wanted to convey that I’m praying that God grants Sonali and her parents enough strength to cope up with this. I’ll pass on the information to my acquaintances in the US and ask them to do the needful.

Elvis’s entry is similar to a bob marley t-shirt one my friends used to have. Very similar concept..even the colors.
Maybe its plagiarized, maybe its a case of “great minds think alike.”
Please don’t rip me apart or flame me for this. I’m just being honest. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw that poster was my friends t-shirt. :(
thank u all bringing the concept of posters to indian cinema. brilliant. never seen anything close to this in indian cinema. u guys are laying foundation for future for bringing credibility to cinema. ” just how long acn u wait” wow!!!
Just bought the No Smoking soundtrack an hour ago. The music is so rich, complex and urgent, it makes my face tingle, my lips burn. Is this the intended effect?
Omkara was my favorite music of the last couple of years. I was trying not to hope too hard for another gem from Vishal Bhardwaj, but already I’m loving No Smoking almost as much. So far, Vishal’s own voice on Kash Laga had the biggest effect on me.
Now I’m anxious for the movie to live up to the soundtrack.
This probably isn’t the right thread, but I don’t feel well informed enough about music to start my own topic.
yeah, vikkster is right, the zaheer image is ripped off from a Bob Marley poster…don’t think he deserves the $500.00….

It was such a memorable time, refreshing the page every hour to find so many new entries, so many fresh perspectives bumbling with ideas. The very passion with which every designer envisioned the film and its look was so inspiring and heartening!

This is the one I’ve seen on my friends t-shirt, except that his t-shirt was black and the color of bob marley’s face was pretty similar to Elvis’s creation.
Sorry Zaheer, I meant to say elvis…my bad! Your poster on the other hand is pretty cool.And Vikkster, you’re right, too bad anurag and Oz are not aware of that almost legendary and extremely well known image of Bob Marley that elvis ripped off.
